  1. Very nice. The '71s were great looking cars.
  2. Very nice. I like the non GT notchbacks from this time period.
  3. What can one say. Your builds are always some of the best out there Steve. Great job.
  4. Very nice. I love those full-size muscle cars. And 300s, letter or non letter, are still some of the best.
  5. Very pretty car. I too like the color.
  6. A very nice job on both '32s. Love the paint. I'm sure your A is nice too. I'd like to see more photos of that one too.
  7. I can tell I'm of Finnish decent. Every time I see a build from someone in Finland, I love what I see. But, you did scare me a bit when you mentioned North Dakota Hippies in your title. The idea of a hippy from North Dakota just doesn't seem right. And coalition of hippies from North Dakota? Though I suspect every hippy in North Dakota could fit into one Beetle. Very cool car, man. Groovy.
  8. Still my favorite Coronet of all time. Love that quirky front end. Which a lot of people don't. And I like your take on the car. I especially like your choice on the hood scoop. Very cool.
  9. A very sharp looking Comet.
  10. Nice looking bug. The colors really make it stand out. The vinyl interior is one of the reasons I've stayed from their Karman-Ghia kit. Bought the Tamiya one instead.
  11. Nice job. I like it.
  12. Two lovely Pontiacs. Very nice.
  13. Two very cool cars. I love GM's fastback from that time period. More reasons I wish they were staying in business. My last order was put in about the same time as yours. I ordered their '67 Grand Prix convertible. Hopefully I see it soon then.
  14. Still the coolest airplane ever designed IMO. And like AMT's model of it.
  15. If you go to the "Off Topic Lounge" section of this site, you will see one or two threads on this subject. Including one that recently figured out the average age of people using this site. This turned out to be one of the few times where I turned out to be above average. ? or ?
  16. Thanks Chris. Sometimes people post things assuming everybody else knows what they are talking about. More info is always helpful.
  17. Looks cool. I've never built a Heller kit. I assume they are okay? Even though I think the subject of this kit is cool, I'm sorry to say I will more than likely not be adding this kit to my collection. Still, I'd be interested in seeing a review and build of the kit when it comes out.
  18. Art, at times Chevrolet use to offer 3/4 ton panels on the long wheelbase too. But, all Suburbans, like you were saying, were factory built on the short 1/2 ton truck chassis through 1966. This holds true for the GMC Suburbans too. As far towing. Very few people need anything over a half-ton for towing trailers. Setup right, a 1/2 ton Suburban could at least towing 6,000 lbs. Even back then. Maybe more with right rear axle ratio. The weight of a trailer is mainly suspended by the trailer's own suspension. In the old days, they would only recommend having 600 lbs. of tongue weight with a 6,000 lb. trailer. No sweat for a half-ton with the right hitch.
  19. Looks cool. I need to get one. Thanks for the photos Bill. I'd love to see it again when you have it built.
  20. The more I look at the two above trucks, the more curious I become. Beside scale, what is history of these kits? When did they come out? They look like they be Japanese kits put into AMT boxes. And what's the purpose of looks like a speaker grille on the bottom of the moving van trailer? I've been building model for over 50 years. And I've never seen these kits before. Where did they come from? A reviews of both of these kits would be very interesting. Interesting looking trucks.
  21. Yea, Round 2 needs to reissue AMT's 1933 and 1949 Ford coupes too. I'd buy them.
  22. AMT's 1/32 1963 Corvette was a split-window coupe.
  23. Any idea what the scale these trucks are?
  24. A couple of good ones I'm glad to hear coming. AMT's 1/32 1965 Mustang Fastback. Very cool. I'm still wait for the '60 Thunderbird and '63 Corvette in that series to reappear. And the MPC Vending Machine is high on my list. I'm hoping somebody will make Moutain Dew decals to fit that one.
