  1. you betcha... they'll be pretty much identical to the ones moeb supplies in their pickup kits. mike
  2. Here's Snake's famous picture of the original '68 amt body's rear wheel opening to aid in restoring the funny car body back to stock. mike
  3. How about a '68 wagon? m
  4. Just don't send one from the monogram '68 as it is apparently a '69 dash mike
  5. Already being discussed here... mike
  6. Great project, Mike. The grills and header may even be adaptable to the new '68 coming out. Now we just need a resin '68 GTO dash mike
  7. There's a good reason for that similarity... the '65 Comet chassis and engine compartment were borrowed from the '66 Fairlane /Comet kit with some details backdated to look more accurate. mike
  8. The extra set of leaf springs in the amt Stones 4x4 could work for the front axle and the dana 60 rear axle from the same kit completes the conversion. mike
  9. Wild rose country mike
  10. At least that new gmc looks better than the current iquana... seems like they alternate ugly between gmc and chev with the '07 restyle lost by chev with those chrome pontoons pasted on the front. mike
  11. The Nite package was just available in '91 and '92. AMT makes the correct flareside box for the '92; no need to fool with the incorrect '80 box. mike
  12. Great tutorial! Agrees fully with my impressions of the kit. mike
  13. I don't believe a rear step bumper was ever offered in the regular F-350 kits... maybe in one of the monster truck variations? mike
  14. This has sure been a fascinating look into the development and process of a long awaited subject Now I'm wondering if anyone's been working on a conversion of the '92 '96 (oops) into the more desirable '98-'12 CV... mike
  15. That's a great article and a beautiful car. I'd have to side with the owner regarding that vinyl roof... yeccchhh The team, tapes, camera and carving, did an excellent job of transposing the proportions to scale. mike
  16. Thanks Casey. The parts sharing on all these kits is probably 90% or better, allowing for varying grills, wheels and accessories. Cab nameplate engraving changed for the '77/'78 kits. mike
  17. Good thing I kept my catalogs for reference mike
  18. 'Close' (borrowing/adapting some amt fairlane parts) at least got it to market mike
  19. Nice work! Got a '91 to this point about twenty years ago... sure would be nice to have the proper decals to finish it right

    Wix Cobra

Love the heat staining on the pipes and other details. I've got the charcoal grey wix cobra; like it because it's not the usual blue rendition. mike
  21. Nice work on those, Tim. I did a minor conversion on my red '69 diecast with decals made up for me by SteveA over on the spotlight forum after I sent him pics and measurements... Obviously, lots of other detail work to do on it but it's a start. At least shape-wise it's much easier to look at than the recent styrene rendition. Here's a link to some other ford trucks done in diecast... mike
  22. Hope this helps... mike
  23. IIRC, they didn't come with the airbag steering wheel either, but they did tool one up for the '95 annual. mike.
