  1. Thanks guys!
  2. Those are some great builds! I really dig that Jeep!
  3. Yellow looks great on this. Wonderful build!
  4. Fantastic year! Quantity & quality. That Wildcat really grabbed my attention.
  5. Great looking group, a good year indeed.

That yellow really does make this stand out, great choice. Very clean build and well done. Count me in on liking that firewall too.
  7. I appreciate the comments guys, thanks. Though I'm not a big Corvette guy I'm glad to add it to my stable of models. Hahaha a convertible in the snow, yeah we're pretty hardy here in Wisconsin LOL.
  8. Awesome group for '21 Roger. Always like seeing your beautiful builds and looking forward to what you come up with in the new year!
  9. Nice crisp work on all the black trim. That's one good lookin' Porsche!
  10. That paint finish is a thing of beauty. Thanks for sharing your paint process. Love all that under hood detail too. Sweet work!
  11. Cleared this one off the bench yesterday, just a quick & dirty build I had started when dealing with the paint issues on Leal's Belvedere. I swapped in some pad printed tires, otherwise she's 100% box stock. Colors are Valspar Odds N Ends Insignia Red and Krylon Brown Boots. The windshield fit wasn't the best, but otherwise the kit went together fairly well. Thanks for looking and any comments/questions. Now to figure out what to build next...
  12. I'm in agreement with everyone else, what an outstanding model! Paint, stance, wheels, that interior...wow!
  13. That is just beautiful, probably the best build of this kit I've seen. That's an impressive list of changes/add-ons you did, definitely makes it a standout. Well done!
  14. Thanks guys, I appreciate it.
  15. Sorry to hear of the mishap with the one decal, but at least it looks like the others laid down well. Good looking build. Dale was one of my favorites back then too.
  16. Great build Jim and sharp paint. Love these kits.
  17. I totally agree hahaha. Thanks guys.
  18. Thanks guys! This is a really nice kit to build. I have another one to build with a set of Grumpy's Black Arrow decals. Thanks, and you are correct John, I did spray the whole body Hugger Orange. Luckily those decals are pretty opaque. A few of the decals were a challenge for sure. I was a little worried about the huge side decals but they cooperated really well.
  19. She's a beauty John!
  20. Oh man, nice work on all the kitbashing, love this. A definite improvement over what this kit offers out of the box. When building mine I only swapped out the wheels/tires, some engine bits, and hood.
  21. Another one fresh off the bench. Would have been sooner but I had paint issues and had to strip and repaint it. Model Master Hugger Orange over a white base. Cragars were sourced from an AMT 68 Camaro. Interior is Tamiya TS-87 Titanium Gold, with a parts box tach, as well as a block off plate for the radio. This kit was a pretty smooth going build with no real issues, other than the trunk lid & taillight panel decals giving grief but did my best with them.
  22. That is outstanding. Paint & decals, just wow!
  23. Thanks again for the nice words guys.
  24. I used the Desert Dogs just like Steve did and they fit well. I don't remember if I tried any others or not. The grille does have those depressions on the sides, too. Shameless plug but here's the one I built several years ago with the Deluxe Two Tone paint scheme. I, too, would love it if Round 2 would be gracious enough to create and provide the Free Wheeling decals. That is such an iconic look.
  25. I agree with everyone, that blue really hits the bullseye on this. Well done Mike, another great build to add to your collection.
