    '61 Falcon

Very cool little Falcon, that color really looks super on it. Great work as always Roger!
  2. Love all of 'em, but man that Maverick is killer. What paint did you use on the valve covers?
  3. This has to be one of the best builds of this kit I've seen. Very well done. I remember building one when I was in my early teens and had a heck of a time with it but did get it cobbled together. Haven't attempted another one since LOL.
  4. Perfect wheel and tire choice, Michael. That Charger is a beauty.
  5. Now that's just killer! Awesome details all around. Beautiful work Greg. Where's the keys? I want to take it up into the mountains in Colorado...
  6. Thanks guys. I forgot to mention I trimmed up the rear window to allow it to sit flush with the body. And, even though it's just white, the paint is Duplicolor Arctic White, with the chassis being coated in Rustoleum Smoke Gray.
  7. A great year of model building Craig. ? All are sharp and clean. A tough call, but the GSX and 67 Camaro are my favorites.
  8. Man is that ever impressive! What a beautifully married kitbash, and love that you went with a 383. Congrats!

    My 2020

Lots of nice work on many subjects you don't see built all that often. The Harley and tractor are my favorites.
  10. Thanks a lot guys, I'm hoping to up the build count by a few here in 2021. You are correct Tom. The little bugger was a lot more fun to build than I thought it would be.

    My 5 for 20

Five sharp builds for sure. I really like that MT funnycar.
  12. Love all those T-bolts Tom.
  13. That's a beauty, Craig. I'd be proud to have that one in my collection. Excellent job on the vinyl top and the weathering underneath. Those colors fit it so well. Congrats.
  14. Took the words right out of my mouth LOL. Nice 442 Stephen.
  15. Welcome back to the hobby, those look great. ? Sweet backdrop too.
  16. A pretty average year for me quantity wise, even though I didn't finish the first one 'till June. Hope everyone has a great New Year's!
  17. So well done and loved watching this come together. Love the steering wheel.
  18. For my latest project I decided to tackle one of these notorious monsters from Polar Lights. Armed with the assistance of Matt McNally's excellent guide of building tips on his website just a click away, I have to say that the build went along smoother than I had figured it would. She was still temperamental at times, but I wrestled it into submission. The headers were the biggest fight, even with tons of trimming and testing they still don't fit right, which plays havoc with the exhaust pipes...got 'em in there the best I could. The roof number decal gave me all kinds of fits too. After some slicing and what seemed like an ocean of Micro Sol I conceded and had to call it good enough. Not pleased with it but it is what it is. The kit tires were junk so I threw on a set of PPP tires & wheels. The last half of the exhaust pipes are aluminum tubing, though painted to match the rest of the pipes. I'm glad I finally took the plunge and brought one of these kits to the bench, they are such a great subject and with some patience can be made into some decent lookers. I've go three more in the stash to tackle in the future, maybe sooner than later. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take my usual outdoor pics with snow flurries coming and going so I made do with some impromptu indoor shots. I may try to take some better outdoor shots at a later date and post them up. Anyways, hope everyone has a great new year's and on to the pics.
  19. Very cool wagon Roger. It sure doesn't show that you encountered the issues you spoke of, the end result looks great. Maybe GM should have offered a wagon in the SS lineup as well, as I'm sure they would of had some takers.
  20. Wow that is beautiful. Those colors work so well on it
  21. I completely agree, such a cool platform to build on...whether a real deal one or in scale. So many great builds here, love seeing them all. The only two I've built so far. This one I hope to restore/rebuild some day. It was my dad's that he built sometime back in the late 60's early 70's I believe. Its missing the left rear slick but otherwise seems complete.
  22. Awesome work Scott! That R35 GTR is sweet in that color, makes me want to move the one I have further up the "to do" list.
  23. That's one classy looking Ford, beautiful work.
  24. Those are all outstanding builds, and nice variety as well.
  25. Sweet builds Ludwig. They all look great but man that 67 Cyclone really pulls on me.
