  1. Beautiful! Yet another inspiring build of this kit!
  2. Oh man is that ever nice! Makes me want to start on mine, just need to figure out who's car to build yet lol.
  3. Thanks Snake. I have a few other pics I had taken. Anything in particular you'd like to see?
  4. I really appreciate all the nice comments guys! This is a pretty decent kit. Like the other Monogram musclecar kits it's fairly simplified, but does build up well and looks the part. One regret I have is not deepening the panel lines to get some wash in them. After primer & paint they got buried a fair bit and figured they would look a little messy if I tried throwing some Tamiya panel line in them. Oh well.
  5. That's a beauty, and a great shade of blue. Well done!
  6. Fresh off the bench today. A pretty straight forward build, wired up the engine bay, Keith Marks decals, and Fireball Modelworks tire lettering decals. I separated the exhaust from the rear axle, threw on some aluminum tips, and added some parts box shocks since none are supplied with this kit. Hopefully the Mopar gods don't strike me down, as it is painted in Model Master Huggar Orange. I love how it ended up looking in this color. A fun build that has become one of my favorites among my herd of builds. Thanks for taking a gander and any comments & questions.
  7. Love it! Really sharp build of a subject rarely built and seen. Count me in as not caring if it's not exactly correct, as I build in the same fashion. As long as it looks the part and at least fairly close I'm happy!
  8. Sweet Duster Ray! That Metallic Orange suits it well, and the white really sets it off.
  9. All of that surgery paid off handsomely as the end result looks fabulous. Very creative design conversion for sure, and I absolutely love it!
  10. Beautiful Galaxie John!
  11. Love it! Such a clean build. So sad his life was cut short. I've got this car on the to do list.
  12. All the body mods, the big mill under the hood, the wheels, what's not to love?! Another excellent build, Roger! I really like the finish of the interior and the blacked out trim & bumpers too.
  13. Man is that ever a beauty! Excellent build from bumper to bumper. I sure do love those Buicks, thanks for sharing.
  14. Beautiful T-bolt John! The adjusted stance looks great! Nice work on all that BMF too. I agree that using old decals can be a nightmare sometimes, glad yours turned out well.
  15. Thanks guys! No problem Keith ?
  16. Oh man is that ever nice! Awesome work from top to bottom. I've been tempted to drag mine out of the pile lately but just don't get any building-style vibes for it, but seeing yours now gives me some ideas. Maybe something along the lines of a street freak... Thanks for sharing this and creating some inspiration in me. ?
  17. Super sharp and an always great color combo on these. I've been wanting to get my hands on one of these for some time now.
  18. Love it! Looks tough as nails and ready to kick some tail.
  19. Thanks Gareth! Yeah I always cringe a little when I take those pics hoping not to knock off a mirror or something LOL. Thanks Zenon, it's a fairly simple process. I'm going to send you a pm. Thanks so much Josh, that means a lot. But believe me it has a few warts here and there LOL. I think alike with you on some kits of the newer cars. Addressing the tires & ride height make all the difference in these kits. Regardless of how well the rest of the build might be, if those issues aren't addressed it just throws the whole build off. Many thanks again to everyone for your comments, I'm glad you all like it.
  20. Sharp build Ray! Love the gold bits under the hood. This gives me some inspiration to get mine started.
  21. Thanks Keith, sorry about not getting to reply sooner. The way I understand it, since the super stock rules required cars to have a factory style exhaust in place ( though I don't think it had to be hooked up to the headers), Ford decided to put in place a single exhaust pipe instead of duals in a weight savings move. The kit does come with a crossover pipe for between the headers but I decided to leave it off.
  22. Now that is a stunner, just an outstanding build! That paint is gorgeous and the detail all around is amazing. Looks like the real deal. Congrats!
  23. Very nicely done! I really like the detailing under the hood. When I was a kid one of my best friend's parents bought one new in the same colors, I loved that car so much.
  24. Thanks a lot for the comments everyone. I don't know why I put off building one of these pony's for so long as they are a pretty decent kit from what I experienced.
