This came in today from a trade.

Thanks guys. I am guessing that the green car was all testors enamels with how quickly the paint came off. If you notice the black paint in the engine compartment of the purple one came off quickly as well. I am using Super Clean here. While I have used dot3 brake fluid in the past, I have yet to try the 90% alcohol.

Yesterday I put a pair of 67 Chevelle bodies in the purple pond. This morning the one that was painted green was completely stripped. The purple one was hardly touched. I put the interior and chassis of the green car in the pond this morning and as of this post it is almost clean.

Beautiful Ranchero. I have one in the stash and I do not look at it as having a bad rap, but due to others building it, I now know it's short comings just like all kits have.

Nice touch with the frame matching the graphics.

You certainly do outstanding work in the smaller scale. I had no idea there were such a variety of subjects.

Let's do the Ranch Wagon then, that way neither of us has to go find one. With everything else going on my bench, how about no time restraints?

I took part in a CB on another board years ago and thought It was pretty cool. You and another member team up with identical kits. You take the body and any other pieces that need to be painted body color.....paint them, trim them, decal them, have a completely finished body, and mail it to the other member who does the same with his. You build the rest of the kit yourself and when you are finished you have a model on your shelf that, by outward appearance, is from another modeler. I think it really pulls the community together and builds friendships. Anybody in?
