  1. Time to tag everyone's build so I can follow along. ? I have this one in the stash also.
  2. Ok, bumping this rebuild project to BRBO status. Still looking for the rest of the lowboy pieces. I wont be able to go to a craft store and look for wood for the decking for awhile yet but I have plenty to keep me busy in the meantime.

  7. Ha! Those cowboys do like their comfort. When my family was in Wyoming I helped sell a blue 72 sj for a friend. It had been parked on the prairie for years but the 455 fired right up.
  8. I know somebody does, I think it's the same company that made my T800 hood. Now if I could just remember... I want to say Plaskit... I think you can get it from P&P resin... If I only had a memory I would not have to edit so much...
  9. No, unfortunately I traded it off a few years ago. I kept telling myself you can't keep them all. Ha! Thought I still had the decals!
  10. I would like to find another one someday myself for a second chance. IIRC, I painted mine testors jade green.
  11. I remember building this as a kid. I think I still have the decals also. lol Looking forward to seeing yours finished up.
  12. So sorry for your loss Vince.
  13. Yea, I had to clean up and organize the stash before I started building anything just for my sanity.
  14. Looking good. I just put my stalled '59 back on the bench.
  15. Getting there Tom. Tom, I have the same booth. lol So the bench got cleaned up and everything layed out for the first. My goal is to be more productive at the bench as well as getting some stalled builds finished up. I have joined two CBs on the site which are eight months long, and have something else on the side. Bench is definitely big enough. ?
  16. The goal this next year is to finish up some of my stalled builds. I have to be working on one or I can't start another new build. This is self induced, and we will see how long it lasts. ? I have a friend in Canada that does these great flame jobs and he painted this up for me....about 12-13 years ago. The amount of foil work on this car is what stalled the build. He also made the big wheel thing work. So this is going to be built his way. Here is where I was at when it sputtered out.
  17. Gorgeous '59 ! I will be building a few myself. '59 Chevs kinda run in the family. My grandfather started it by bringing home a new BelAir sedan which outlasted him, my dad, and my sister. My dad also had an Impala convertible, my brother had an Impala hardtop, and I had a Biscayne.
  18. Looking forward to seeing more pics under glass.
  19. Looking great Tom !
  20. From the looks of your air cleaner this must not be your first gin and tonic. ?
  21. Tell me about it! I have been organizing my new hobby room and the ideas are bouncing around so bad it hurts. ? My son wants me to focus on my unfinished builds before starting something new. I told him he was too late, I already committed to the Cannonball cb. ? Here is my dilemma... 1- Finish my Watkins trailer to go behind the restored tractor. 2- Finish the International rebuild of truck and trailer, adding the load. (I know, that's a lot of yellow) 3- Start a very ambitious and stretched everything completely parts built 352 that is waaaaay over my head. 4- Go fresh with a wrecker body I have been hoarding. I can come up with more if these are not enough...?
