  1. Getting things moved in from the garage. I still need to figure out where and how to set up my tools, equipment, and supplies.
  2. I will be following along for sure. This will be a special build.?
  3. Those colors really pop. What color are you going to use for the chassis?
  4. Sounds like we would get along just fine. I too have owned a number of VWs over the years, both air cooled and water cooled. The Bavaria is on the back burner due to money/time constraints (if you have one, you don't have the other), and that my son is getting married Feb 1st so his interests are focused elsewhere at the moment. lol
  5. Love the old BMW die casts. My son and I have a 1973 Bavaria for a project.
  6. Glad your sticking with it. Gives me ideas as well.
  7. No kidding. The builder must have thought if a little is good a lot is better.
  8. Ok, shelves are set up, monitor will be mounted on the wall at some point. I have one set of shelves and an old secretary in the closet. I think if I get a 24x24 set of shelves to put next to the bench I will be set.
  9. Gerry, I saw you at the show earlier in the month but did not get to meet you. Let me know if you are planning a trip to Newport.
  10. I gather you also use the dividers?
  11. If I remember correctly, the small block chevy in the old 55-7 Revell kits is pretty small. Maybe you could start with one of those?
  12. This truck is insane. Now, question is, who wants to build a model of it... https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/enthusiasts/thor24-raises-the-bar-for-murica/ar-BBWXb3s
  13. Followed this in the wip, excellent job. It's a beauty.
  14. When I was in high school our family had a white 69 two door ht,with navy blue vinyl top and matching bench seat interior. 300hp 350/powerglide, ps,pb,ac. Loved driving that car. We also had a navy blue on blue 69 Kingswood wagon. Again, beautiful car. Yes, the 69 is much nicer looking than a 70.
  15. Love it! Hope mine turns out half that clean.
  16. I have a couple logging trucks in the stash and really like how you nailed this one.
  17. I will have to remember this trick for a future build. Great idea and execution.
  18. Excellent results. The hard work really paid off.
