  1. Thanks Brian. I had plenty of time on my hands due to unemployment caused by a health scare. I always found model building therapeutic and it proved so once again. Everything looking up once again, so no worries. I really appreciate all the comments and am looking forward to seeing the rest of the group build in the galleries.
  2. I just said it once, so I will say it again... Super clean build Brian! I also want to thank everyone for being so educational on this site. Both with the models and the 1:1. I used to see one of these run around town all the time with a little dump box on it and wondered what model Mack it was. Now I know. Oh, and if ever a Mac could be considered "cute", that little dump truck was just the cutest little thing.

  4. I found the decals offered in both my Titan and Bison kits to be rather disappointing. I really want to add some sort of company logo to the doors and a decent license plate. Does anyone offer generic trucking company decal sheets? Thanks, Sam
  5. An outside pic and one of my fleet of Chevies.
  6. Calling this one finished. I really needed an oob to get me back to the bench. Probably the worst AMT i ever worked with for cleanup and prep. Thanks to everyone in the group build for the motivation.
  7. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
  8. Thanks again everyone ! Before I button it up and put it under glass I have one quick question. My cab is sitting in its rear mounts, is level with the shifting plate, and sits level on the chassis, also the bumper is installed in the proper location and the cab tilts just fine.....but....does the gap between the bumper and cab look too wide? I can move the bumper up a bit if needed, or call it good and move on to the next build.what do you all think?
  9. Great attention to detail on this ! I envy you, I am just barely getting one kit on my bench, let alone three.
  10. Just got back from Michaels and found almost everything you listed there. Just need to order the Hex beads online. Thanks again!
  11. Thanks for the kind comments everyone. I think the cab is finally assembled! Still debating where/if the antennas are going on. Now for the FUN part, mounting the cab...
  12. I think they are both looking great!
  13. Now this is crazy, I have owned three rangers myself. Two '86s and a '88.
  14. I did not know that about the hauler. Thanks for the info. I see a couple of mine being turned into moving vans.
  15. That was fast ! Thanks Ron
  16. 15 years ago or more I picked up this resin flat hood off of eBay. I built the model below and sent it to a friend as a gift. I want to build another one and wondered if anyone knew where I could get another hood. TIA, Sam
  17. Can I ask just what you do to make them into a moving van? I have a few of these myself and only plan on building one of them into a race hauler. Thanks
  18. Nice build! I have one of these trailers in the stash and wondered how they looked.
  19. Cool Jungle Jim set !! I still have all my H.O. stuff from the '70s. Lots of magna track, and g+, plus early Tyco. Some JL model motoring cars 'cause the bodies are cool. Large track sets in both AFX and Tyco. My interests have gone into more modern 1/32, so the H.O. stuff hasn't been touched in years.
  20. I have had too much caffeine today or I am just getting old. Either way, my hand is not as steady as it once was. Not happy with how the dash turned out but am calling it good before I make it even worse.
