  1. Le Mans-24hr is in June. May not have much testing time but it looks like you are going to make it!
  2. Curious why this question has not been answered. What benefit does the person that presents an idea receive? How will the ideas be used? Will the ideas be used or is this just a thought exercise?
  3. Very nice Jason and I love the color combination.
  4. It doesn't relate to models in the slightest, that's why I posted it in the "The Off-Topic Lounge" .
  5. Great project John. If you are looking for a header (expansion) tank the Revell Parts Pack 427 engine has nice one. That is what I used in my 427 Cobra build.
  6. The last few days the site has been almost unbearably slow.
  7. Falcon speedster!
  8. Glad you guys are enjoying the build. Trans-Am rules of the period did not allow full roll cages, only a simple roll hop. Scratched one up based on the few period photos I could find. Also fabricated the rear bulkhead/package tray.
  9. Love it.
  10. I glue the glass in the windshield frames on my Cobra builds with Testors Liquid Cement. It can be risky but gives a much stranger bond that I can get with any other adhesives. I flow it around the frame with a Touch-N-Flow applicator.

Very nice. IIRC the last front engine prototype.
  12. Didn't care for the big void between the inner fender and the foot well... so I fabricated a filler panel. Also boxed in the top of the frame rails.
  13. Thanks Shay & Randy. For more history on Falcon race cars this book includes a chapter on the Galaxies, Mustangs and Falcons that raced in the BTCC. Alan Mann Racing took advantage of the FIA, suspecting they new little about the US built Falcons (and gambled they wouldn't attempt to verify) and had them homologated with fiberglass hood, fenders, bumpers and trunk lid. That made these lightweight Falcons 400 lbs(!) lighter than a Mustang and producing up to 400 HP these cars were rocket ships that dominated Touring Car racing for several years.
  14. Not real exciting stuff to look at but I like my builds to fit together properly. Adjusted the rear track to get proper tire clearance: Lowered the front stance fractionally: Fabricated filler panels at the rear of the chassis:
  15. No Cowboys fan but gotta love this as a football fan. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-draft/0ap3000000804276/Fiery-Drew-Pearson-trolls-Eagles-fans That is an all-time great pick announcement! I am standing and applauding! Drew Pearson soaking in the hate and spittin' it back! - Rich Eisen, reacting to the former Cowboy's fiery introduction in Philadelphia.
  16. Another nice one Jason.
  17. Great international trade with Zoom - thank Bo.
  18. Very nice Jason.
  19. Turned out great Atin. I've always liked the wire wheels in that kit.
  20. Thank you gentlemen. A mock-up to check progress.
  21. I'll be following as well.
  22. Love it! The chassis appears to fit very nicely.
  23. Thanks Shay. Mike, I'll check out the '66 Fairlane chassis. Not for this build but I have the convertible kit as well.
