  1. That is a stunning Torino you built there Tom. Bravo sir.
  2. Smoke Wagon, (Riley) provided me with a set of tail lights for an AMT Ford F-150 kit I got on an ebay. Many thanks sir. Don
  3. Unbelievable level of detail here. Just blown away every time I check back in.
  4. Your attention to detail is simply amazing. A grunged ashtray! I am blown away.
  5. Wow! What a stunning build of one of my favorite cars. ?
  6. Looks like you won the battle Mike. It looks great.
  7. This build is just blowing my mind. Such an amazing attention to detail. I would have never thought about the vent covers for the kick panels. Genius!
  8. Looking really good Mike. I have two of these kits in the stash along with the Paragraphix set. Your build might just jump start me.
  9. Super cool subject Mike. This was the very first model kit that I finished as a kid. Painted it with paint-by-numbers oil paints and never knew why it took forever to dry. Needless to say it was full of finger and hand prints. Took it to school to show friends and the janitor ended up throwing it away on me. Definitely following along with your build.
  10. Your work is amazing Steve. This whole build is a tutorial in how to create a museum masterpiece!
  11. Got it Plowboy. Thanks for your help sir.
  12. I'm looking to see if there is a source for 1/25 BF Goodrich Radial Mud Terrain T/A tires in a 31X10.5 R15 size. I saw that Fireball Modelworks did a set in 33X12.5R15 which is a tad too large. Trying to replicate the '80 Toyota 4X4 I owned when I was stationed in Alaska.
  13. Awesome job so far Seth. The '69 Chevelle is my favorite Bow Tie car. Love the subtle weathering you are doing to make your paint pop.
  14. Very cool! Buick nailhead engine backed up with a Turbo 350 trans. Love it. I'll be following along with this one.
  15. Thanks all for the suggestions. BONDIC looks promising but I'm not sure of the yellowing of the resin. I'll definitely be giving some of these ideas a try. ?

    GTO

Pretty sure this is Revell's 1966 GTO Rick. The MPC 67 is a real pooch of a kit and doesn't have near this detailed of an engine bay.

Nice looking Goat Bill. This kit is a dream to build. BTW - Go Big Red!
  18. I realize the OP is talking about interiour tubs but Steve's comment here is especially true when it comes to hoods fitting.
  19. I'm trying to find out what others are doing to get rid of that toy look with chrome headlights short of drilling them out and replacing with clear parts. I've seen where others have covered them over with something that gets rid of that too shiny look but a search of the forum isn't turning up anything. I'm sure this has been covered before but for the life of me I can't find it.
  20. I have been using the Paasche H for over 40 years and have never had the bottle or paint cup fall out. I tried a Badger years ago because that's what a buddy was using and ended up hating it. Went straight back to my Paasche H. It's super simple to clean and does a great job.
  21. One of the best jobs I've seen on this particular kit. Total stunner. You captured the look of the real show rod.
  22. Here is a pic right after getting back from painters but before I could find the right sized GTO emblems.
  23. I love those old Goats so much I went out and bought a numbers matching '70 GTO. In modeling form I'm working on accurizing the old MPC kit to represent this car. It's painted Atoll blue and the painter gave me some extra paint after I got the full sized one resprayed. At some point down the road I'd like to have a complete collection of GTOs from 1964 until 1972 in 1/25 or 1/24. Thanks again and I'd love to see pics of your Meridian Turquoise if you have them. Don
