  1. She is absolutely gorgeous!!
  2. She turned out fantastic! You really did a nice job on it. And yes, both cars look great!
  3. Nice start! I think the real vehicle is so cool. When this kit was re-popped, pun intended, I had to buy it and build it. Not sure how the roof is fitting for you but it was a horrible fit for me. Really looking forward to seeing yours when it is finished. Good luck!
  4. I would have never believed that white would have looked so good! Super nice job on this!
  5. Thanks for the review! Mine is on its way from HLJ.
  6. Fantastic! I have always liked this car. You did such a nice job on it!
  7. Not a bad one in the bunch! You are a talented modeler and a heck of a photographer!
  8. My Lord, she is absolutely stunning! What a wonderful journey you took us on. Thanks so much for sharing your work with us. Glad you finished her up.
  9. I don't think there is a superlative that hasn't been used yet so I am just going to say, beautiful build, Dann! It has been enjoyable following along.
  10. That is one sharp looking build! As the others have said, you nailed it in all aspects, great color choice and details!
  11. You have really nailed "the look" with this one! The color combos, stance, etc all work so well together! Great looking model.
  12. Holy cats!! That thing is gorgeous!!
  13. Don't know if this will work. Hopefully it is a link to a video that demonstrates what I was trying to explain.
  14. Another method that does work is to use a new #11 blade in a hobby knife handle and roll the piece of tubing under it. You must keep the blade at a 90 degree angle to the tubing. When rolling the tubing with the blade, make sure that the tubing rolls in a straight line. In other words, you want your cut line straight and true all the way around the tubing. I hope this makes sense. I struggled to get the technique into words...lol.
  15. I have always admired your work, Alex. It is great to see your in-progress updates. I have said elsewhere, I would put masking as my least favorite thing to do. I'm not good at it. As you pointed out, it is time consuming and more often than not, takes longer to do than the prep and painting. Your Mazda is looking great. Love the color! I'm looking forward to seeing more updates.
  16. She is looking good, Chris!
  17. I know this is a day late and a dollar short, but this is a common problem/complaint. There have been various homemade fixes, you will nees to find what is best for you. Personally, I just leave the base separate from the top. Sorry to read about your bad luck.
  18. Bob, that is what I was doing at Sheppard, attending my tech school. My training was about 9 months long. Sheppard had one heck of an Airman's Club...lol.
  19. USAF, 1983 -1988, BMET stationed at RAF Alconbury / RAF Upwood. Did a little time at Sheppard AFB and Columbus AFB.
  20. I've been gone for a little while and I am just now trying to catch up on some of the threads I was following. Not even sure what to say! She is looking fantastic! I appreciate all of the time you take to explain what you have done, along with the photos to document your work.
  21. That is just flat out nice! I really like the color combination.
  22. The whole "I can't get back on the forum" thing has happened to me several times. I found that if I try to re-post more than three times after getting the 404, that is when I get the never ending loading circle thingy. I cannot get on the site on my phone nor my laptop.
  23. What an absolutely gorgeous model, Bruce! I have followed/seen a number of MFH kits being built. I know they can be a challenge at times. Your finished example is outstanding!! Now here is a cool coincidence, I just purchased the Eagle a few months ago. It will be my first MFH. I'm going to be following your build so that I can learn from you! So please, share as much as you can, good and bad. Thanks!
  24. I love your stuff, Jim. I always like seeing your models on FB. Nice to see them over here as well. You have soooo many cool builds and this one is one of my favorites!
  25. Chris, I know that the accolades will be pouring in, and deservedly so. Let me just say that I was blown away by the workbench thread and the final project is phenomenal. Absolutely top notch build!! Congratulations to you!
