  1. I'd love to have a '64/65, since they were also used in the Monte Carlo rally, it fit's the Moebius concept/philosophy , but think the Trumpeter kits as bad as they are, also makes this a no go.
  2. Great kit, but if you build the kit, know that you'd have to scribe the fender to cowl panel line.
  3. Looks great, but think Foose should've left the headlamps stock, the frenched look is kinda sticking out too much, for my taste. Wonder what Gustavson from the custom clinic would say
  4. Calm before the storm?!
  5. Maybe they're trying to make a statement. Yeah...waiting to see the M6 too, dunno if I'm buying but it look promising...
  6. If history a short as it is, has taught us anything, then it is that Round-2 is just that Round-2, the chance to obtain again, a once produced model kit, but in a slightly better form. They're not in the business to modify, unless if it's returning a certain tool to a certain point in time by cloning/copying/ an vintage kit. The exception to the rule are the new Camaro kits, but it's a given that there are always exceptions... Does it bother me that they didn't pull forward with the Demon?...you betcha...but alas it is what it is...
  7. Wonder if they have a Toyota Land Cruiser (J40) on their short list.
  8. Wouldn't mind seeing this tool "accidentally" being dropped from a forklift, Ha....there I said it
  9. By that time, a car will no longer be a private owned vehicle, but a service you pay for, all self-driving electric blobs that will bring you from point A, to B, battery recharge could be a battery swap..... Think my generation (born in '68) will be the last who enjoyed (*) driving. (* On holidays, not for work, here in Flanders, congestion is daily routine with increasing crawling miles, year after year)
  10. I agree, and instead of trying to make that Jo-han thingy work ('59 Dodge) create an all new one, and as much siblings as design/economical wise possible, wonder if a '58 Belvedere then would be possible feasible? But I'm sure that Frank, Dave and the rest of team Moebius, already have a mile long list of their own....I hope that they can work their way to the bottom..
  11. Whatever they announce, they better wait a month or so, before the product actually hits the the shelves, cuz I love surprises! (kinda like the pre-internet days)
  12. While we (my son and I) were riding our bikes on a overpass, over the Antwerp beltway, I saw a metallic green '69 Olds Cutlass H/T, crawling towards the dreaded Kennedy tunnel...
  13. I have to agree that the Fairmont was a clean design, but another car from the same period wich is growing on me, is the '78 Malibu 2dr.....would those fly?
  14. Maybe many of us here on this forum already got this kit the first round. Sure, the tires will be better, same for the decals, so for those who didn't have the chance to pick one up before, a real tread. Me personally am hopeful that more presumed lost ('60s-'70s) tools will resurface in the coming years. But again the aforementioned more common reissues do have their place, not only for those who missed out, but for Round-2 too, so they can finance the restoration/cloning/improving process, of lesser cared for, forgotten designs, which in the past were, maybe rotting away in some cornfield in Iowa (that or maybe to finance the acquisition of another company )
  15. I'm sure a standard '69 Charger will do, or sell it a White Hat special through Hemmings
  16. Hmm...the link you entered, lead me to one pic of the box top artwork, but see now a description was added, which says... Skill 2, paint and cement requiredMolded in whiteVector and Torq-Thrust wheel optionsTwo engine intake setupsCountry racing parts includedAll new decal sheet with flags, numbers and letteringExciting Illustrated packagingSo yer right sir!
  17. I concur, do hope it this modus operandi is their new standard for glue kits.
  18. IMHO a 2'n1 kit would be the best way to re-introduce this one, but....it kinda depends on the tool layout, one more reason a cluster of smaller tools in kit design in this day and age is the best way towards multiple siblings....
  19. You're sure it's not the new snapper in a new wrapper?
  20. At least 40% off!
  21. Don't think they erased the sidewalls of these tires to begin with, same for the Michelin TRX. Only the ones depicting Goodyear tires were affected by the licencing woes IIRC
  22. Looks great Chuck! Wonder if the US Border Patrol used these back in the day...
  23. But not your average tire either... BTW love your T/A
