The day that those elected by the people, for the people, will start working for the people, trying to build and organize a better America, an America which works for everyone who's paying taxes, and not only for the ones, who actually try everything to avoid paying them, will be a day to remember. Now those in power are only ego tripping and riding the money train, the founding fathers are spinning in their grave... just my 2 cents

he should've made sure you had a prescription ready if needed, or is he a newbie?

Wasn't this talked through when your doctor explained the procedure?

Round2 '64 Plymouth Belvedere Lawman Modified Reissue
Luc Janssens replied to SteveG's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
what's the story on those 1956 Michigan plates, were they on the original car too? -
Good job. About the '64 version, if you look and wait long enough, I'm sure a '64 will pop up on ebay, but since they're from 1964, I'll. bet they will be a bit pricey, but sometimes a nice built one, can be bought for less.

Welcome in this small, but dedicated group of automotive modelers.

78 El Camino
Luc Janssens replied to KWT's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Both Mpc as Monogram had the '78 El Camino, Monogram had two versions, a molded in black "Black Knight" stock kit and a molded in red El Macho, with another grille, camper top, and hood with a small air intake. The built looks like a combination of both Monogram kits -
Hang in there Harry, my thoughts are with you, and as others said, inform your family.

Been in the automotive mfr biz for about 20 years, the better part in pilot (building prototype and pilot vehicles at R&D and then translating the whole shebang into a line jobs at the production plant. the later years I was in quality assurance, guarding quality and policing QC. Now I'm a heating technician, which was a serious career change, but what else can one do, when the big automotive manufacturers pull out of Belgium....

If the lowrider community buys it in bulk, it stands a chance, but believe it, when I see it.

That's a remainder from retooling the body tool, if you have an original chopped roof Pro-Modeler '69 Charger, you can see that there no such thing on the C-pillar. 'bout the backseat, the Landy kit has one. Anyway, like what I see here, but will wait for the stock version. I too find it bizarre that there's no exposed headlamp option, if it were me, I would've molded the grille separate from the loop bumper, for easier detail painting and for offering the kit with or without hidden/exposed headlamps.

MPC '79 Firebird T/A (Questions)
Luc Janssens replied to echoxrayniner's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
If we only could convince the guys at Revell to downscale their 1/8th scale '79 Firebird.... -
Maybe not Harry, if the hole would be part of the core of the tooling. BTW Tim & Bob made me go back to this tread, after reading their comments, on the all new Amt Camaro glue kit postings...

Revell Display at GTR NNL 9
Luc Janssens replied to Exotics_Builder's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
The parts breakdown of the Bronco looks real nice, too bad Revell didn't lay out the parts for the racing 'vette the same way, cuz I'm liking that one too. Da Boyz from Elk Grove did good. -
Rising price of our hobby
Luc Janssens replied to Greg Myers's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I don't think you have to pay 56% taxes on your salary and it goes up if one works more, like on weekends to have an extra buck, in short, we're punished for working. Also the utility bills are way up there, think we pay the highest price in the whole EU, for electricity. but back to the regular program now, the price of automotive model kits....(PM me for off-topic, thanks!)
