  1. Beautiful!
  2. I think we’re all wondering about it. Is it your own design you’ve had printed? Looks like the start of a great project.
  3. I’m watching this one! Nice work.
  4. At first, “...too bad it’s not the Sprinter van”, then I immediately thought the same thing, a van cutaway for a motorhome!
  5. Wow, that is nice! What a beauty.
  6. Interesting. I wonder what box art and decals we’ll see? Also, I wonder what other Italeri re-boxes/reissues they’d release if this joint venture continues? Good idea about the HL 40%. That would make this a great thing.
  7. Excellent! Great water and I like the topic title too.
  8. Greenlight is expanding its 1/24 “Hitch & Tow” series of trailers. In addition to the four original vintage models (with numerous paint schemes each) of a 1964 Winnebago, 1947 Teardrop, Shasta Airflyte, and Airstream Bambi, they’re offering a 1958 Catolac (I wasn’t familiar with that one) and a modern 2017 Winnebago Winnie Drop. It seems they are offering them first in 1/64, then some eventually in 1/24. I hope that continues, their 1/64 line of trailers is nice. My dream would include the 1/64 motorhomes in 1/24, but that probably will never happen. I’m glad they’re offering a modern one, I’ll pick one up for my 1/24 scale camping enthusiasts, it’d look great behind my Meng F350. http://www.greenlighttoys.com/index.php?id=466
  9. Wha ja do?!?
  10. I’m not sure why my post warranted such a response. If you believe this isn’t possible, consider the skill and talent of our current truck aftermarket producers and the interest of our truck builders. However, considering the material we’d need for the covering, resin might not be the best answer anyway, except for the framework, front cap, etc. I’m also aware that a functioning curtain isn’t possible either, and Italeri makes a European curtain side too, but it’s not much help to the North American builders. Auslowe has made curtainside trailers, so there is already an aftermarket presence, though an Australian design. Regardless, a few guys have scratchbuilt a curtainside. The upcoming Moebius kit is a great starting point for such a project, making a bunch of the work easier. I’m willing to scratchbuild, but I always have faith in the aftermarket.
  11. With the 48’ spread axle flat - so many interesting load possibilities. Many variations could be made by the builder without too much work. Wonder if someone in the aftermarket would make a curtainside add-on kit?
  12. I’m very pleased about the flatbed. I hoped that they’d go this direction with the next trailer kit.
  13. Excellent. Weathering and details so good you can almost smell it.
  14. Doug Wagner has a new website for his aluminum and 3d printed parts. Great stuff - wheels, tanks, trailer bodies, and more. Keystone Aluminum Model Minatures https://www.kamodelminis.com/
  15. I think you’re correct. I’ve also heard that the Revell headlights have the opposite problem and are too big. In either case, CTM makes a couple replacement options that are more realistic.
  16. It’s really neat to see your evolution in weathering in one single build. It’s getting better and better. My favorite detail so far is the cup marks and coffee stains on the dash. Extreamly subtle yet so very realistic.
  17. Thanks for the sneak peek. Looks nice, I’ll have to add it to my list of kits to buy.
  18. Did Ford use a similiar wheel on their 70’s/80’s one tons?
  19. I agree. I wonder if he ever considered painting it all to match? Still, an odd contraption. But, if it makes him happy, it works for him I guess.
  20. Good work so far, I like the green leaker and the interior. I’d probably go black on the frame, but try red first. Might tie in well with the interior. See how it looks and you can always throw black over it.
  21. No problem at all, of course. Inspiration is the best part of the forum! Thanks!
  22. Thanks everyone for your comments, they are very thoughtful. I appreciate it!
