  1. Dawn dish soap w a shake of comet cleaner also works , scrub with an old toothbrush, rinse, air dry. Been using this on a few resin parts lately. Hope it helps
  2. Sure our local highway dept would let me snap a few pics and measure theirs , drop me a pm if needed, I'll chat up the super. Sounds like jeff b already has us covered ! Can't wait to see it cast
  3. Man that's a serious collection of old iron there..I think I spotted a 71 cutlass coupe facing a picket fence . Too bad they already know where Bullitt is or I'd suspect it was lurking there lol
  4. Wow those other pics really show how lucky the driver was, I think God played a hand in this one and it wasn't pushing those boulders off the bank . Insurance companies sure love to use fine print to avoid payouts ! Keep safe
  5. Thanks everyone I appreciate the comments! !
  6. Looking forward to another season ! Wow that boulder destroyed that rig hopefully the driver was ok
  7. Yup completely normal ! Life has a way of derailing projects
  8. Thanks it's some left over etch from a Stryker MGS . I'll add the NYR letters to it soon
  9. Small wknd update ! Added the CTM modern marker lights square headlights and reflectors. The parts are very impressive the lights even have a reflector kinda look inside The numbers came from jerry, actually forgot I'd ordered them !! Now to the handrail , and get the cab mounted finally
  10. You gonna make this a tri axle truck with all the extra length or a tag axle ? Your bunk looks good together with the cab
  11. Looking good from here !
  12. Thanks ! Man that is beautiful country, until the snow get whipping
  13. Awesome build..a real monster
  14. Garys casting is nice and thin, not the blocks of resin ya have to grind half off used by many .
  15. I see a ton of possibilities with these cabs...namely the IH school bus I've been planning forever !! Thanks Dave
  16. Hey Rusty welcome to the forums !!! I'll offer my 2 cents about aitm, you'll be very happy with the castings , and the service is fantastic. Dave's a great guy to deal with and is willing take phone calls and definitely enjoys talking trucks As far as updating website inventory, he recently changed his site which is much nicer and easier to find everything, you've probably already seen it . He's really quick about replenishing out of stock items , I've had cabs shipped within a week or 2 . When he told ya tomorrow, the cabs were close to being ready. A quick email to dave should get your order placed Hope this helps
  17. Last episode I watched had an employee return after being involved in a n accident driving a Tundra , she looked pretty sore , but missed what happened. Jamie and 3 other heavy rotator were called out after a pete slid off road edge hauling wood, and it took the entire team to upright the truck without spilling a single plank...very impressed Is the Slammer the area around the huge tunnel ?
  18. Stellar work !!!! Your lines are super sharp and look great. We're definitely having fun with the Bear tributes !!!! Check your black stripes when ya start them..a few of mine looked like the ink ran low and has a purple look . Mainly on the ones that go right below windshield that taper
  19. Time for decals ! I'm using the fantastic set from model truckin..it's the truck and trailer set . I'm super impressed with them, they have a slightly thicker film over the stripes allowing several adjustments without tearing !! One issue I ran into was a few looked like the black ink was running out and they appear slightly purple. Here's the NYR Kenworth Bj and bear tribute a few touchups around the gold pin.. Now to see if my stripes line up... Hope ya like !
