Very nice conversion. -
Very nice Firebird.

Beautiful. I'm sure it takes a lot of focus and concentration to get this kit right. You say the kit is over engineered, what Mercedes isn't?

Me too. Very nice! Both the car and the photography are outstanding.

What a disappointment. I came here looking for junk and all I see is this beautifully done Corvette ?

1970 Coupe DeVille
Perspect Scale Modelworks replied to Perspect Scale Modelworks's topic in Model Cars
Thanks again Jeff. The bumpers and all of the trim were done in BMF. Thank you Steve. Yes, those wheels will certainly work on your DeSoto. I have another set with the wide whitewalls on a 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood. The Cadillac crests on the center caps are not well defined but a decal would take care of that. -

Thank you for the compliments. Thanks David. Mike at 3DScaleParts makes really cool parts and these Kelsey Hayes wires are no exception. I think they add depth and life to the car. The pictures were taken by my art school grad daughter. I'm still waiting for the invoice. Yes. The shifter, turn signal and steering wheel adjuster stalks are scratch built as well as the interior lights and headliner. The visor are from Iceman Collections. The rearview and side mirrors, and door handles are from the Revell Caddy lowrider kit. If Jeff says it's cool I gotta believe him. Thank you sir. -
This is a redo of a Johan 1970 Cadillac Coupe Deville I did a couple of years ago. The clearcoat I used never cured properly so I had to strip the body. It sat for 2 years before I got the nerve to redo the bodywork and paint. It's the same color scheme I used on a 1974 Eldorado with a set of Kelsey Hayes spokes and white walls from 3DScaleparts. The roof is covered with Model Car Garage's vinyl top kit. Let me know what you think. Thanks
