  1. I have to give a big shout out to Jay at jaysresinwheels. I found them one day while cruising ebay. I bought a set of his Raceline Manhattans for my 67 Coupe DeVille. I loved the wheels but the deep offset wasn't the flavor I wanted. I contacted Jay to see if he had a "stock" version of the Manhattans which he didn't but by the next day I was able to purchase a set he just whipped up. It was a great customer service experience, a nice, clean product and a really nice price. On the left is the deep offset, the middle is the style I was looking for, and the right is after a little paint and BMF. A mock up on the 67 The 1:1
  2. Saw this today in southwest Florida. Had flashbacks when I saw it in the rearview mirror.
  3. Beautiful work. Only thing, the spark plug wires may be a bit out of scale.
  4. Nice looking 1:1. I'm waiting to see how you tackle making the fender flares.
  5. Your Hudson is looking great. I use the foil under paint technique as well. It can be tedious but gives you much sharper results. As far as the wash on the lower chrome trim, it looks like the 1:1 is all chrome, no wash or cut outs. I would go with that. Looks much cleaner.
  6. Very cool. I'm planning to convert the lowrider coupe to a sedan also. Did you adjust the angle on the rear window? Any interior pictures for the limo? Nice job on both.
  7. Kerosene lamps or electricity? Horse drawn carriage or combustible engine?
  8. 1 of many projects on the bench. JoHan 1967 Coupe DeVille.
  9. How do you get paint on the edges where the hood and fenders meet?
  10. 1976 Eldorado convertible. Not sure what year this mustang is. This poor Benz W220. It's not a lowrider. The air suspension compressor or distribution block has died. Hope they're gassing it up to get to the shop. An old Benz W124 wagon. An some social commentary.
  11. This project is beautiful and it's not even done yet. Superior craftsmanship.
  12. Like everyone else has said, the weathering is just right. Looks like an old truck that gets used but still cared for enough to keep it running. Nice.
  13. Somehow it's clean and grungy all at the same time, just like NYC. Love it.
  14. Really nice. Love the wheels. Just looks like it's time for new rear shocks.
  15. These look like Kelsey Hayes spokes. There is an aftermarket set available in 15". They are a bit pricey but would be closer to the look of the 1:1.
  16. Several times and have not been disappointed. He's in Carlsbad California.
  17. 3dscaleparts.com offers one for $25. https://www.3dscaleparts.com/product-page/1-25-impala-full-uptop-for-the-61-62-63-64
  18. Stunning Benz. The photography is excellent and this picture is my favorite.
  19. No you didn't! That's one of the craziest customs ever made and you nailed it. Wow!
