  1. Really nice work!
  2. Beautiful 442. Love the details and that engine bay
  3. Thanks Cosmo. The mirrors are 3d printed. I found them on Cults3d. The designer is 3DVM. Thanks again.
  4. I think these would be considered Personal Luxury Vehicles. A mix of elegance and power.
  5. Thanks Steve. Yes the '70 is a rare bird.
  6. MCW Medium Brown, Modelhaus tires, Best Model Car Parts gauges, 3d printed mirrors, parts box door handles and BMF. The starting point: The end result:
  7. As I recall they sent an email saying they would send the parts and then they would just show up. It took some time to be sent from Germany.
  8. https://www.revell-service.de/en/ I've had great success with them replacing missing or defective parts.
  9. Gorgeous!
  10. Can you separate the grill from the headlights and remove a bit of material from the headlight side?
  11. Exactly. This is from Revell: "They are all the same kits, 07699 with the packaging for Europe, 67699 for Europe, as a model set with 3 colors, brush and glue, 14512- with the packaging (different design) for the USA. Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards Michael Schmee"
  12. That's really nice work and thanks for the education. I had no idea IH made cars.
  13. Is this ad appropriate? Top left image is just my dirty old man eyes playing tricks on me but the top right image...
  14. I'll usually use enamel paint from the bottle as adhesive. I feel it makes it more sticky and the powder sticks better. With thinned Elmer's I have to go over some bald spots.
  15. So there's 3 versions of this kit? The Revell site shows Product #07699 and Model Set Product #67699. Tower Hobbies is showing the Carrera Revell version #RMX 14512. All with different prices. Anyone know what the difference is between the 3?
  16. I ordered the AMT 68 GTO from Amazon through a seller named DDK Collectables. No huge discount but with free shipping it was about $5 less than other retailers. Best of all it arrived next day with zero damage. Not mad at Amazon over here.
  17. There is this 3d at Cults3d listed as SBC 383 TPI W/PROCHARGER: If that helps. There may be others out there.
  18. For me the Tamiya razor saw is good for big cuts where accuracy is not an issue. Last year I bought an off brand set of PE saws from Amazon just to see what they were like. I love them especially for intricate cuts. I've used them many times and they're still sharp. Even helpful in scribing. They can bend easily so as it's been said, go easy and let the saw do the work. My suggestion is to get both the razor saw and a set of PE saws. That way you're prepared for anything.
  19. Sweet! Geronimo makes some really nice stuff. Nice job & pics.
  20. Nice. Black was definitely the way to go.
