Revell parts replacement
Perspect Scale Modelworks replied to RichCostello's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
As I recall they sent an email saying they would send the parts and then they would just show up. It took some time to be sent from Germany. -

Perspect Scale Modelworks replied to Justin Porter's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Exactly. This is from Revell: "They are all the same kits, 07699 with the packaging for Europe, 67699 for Europe, as a model set with 3 colors, brush and glue, 14512- with the packaging (different design) for the USA. Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards Michael Schmee" -

Best Results for Flocking
Perspect Scale Modelworks replied to ncbuckeye67's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
I'll usually use enamel paint from the bottle as adhesive. I feel it makes it more sticky and the powder sticks better. With thinned Elmer's I have to go over some bald spots. -
Revell 1971 Boss 351 Mustang
Perspect Scale Modelworks replied to Justin Porter's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
So there's 3 versions of this kit? The Revell site shows Product #07699 and Model Set Product #67699. Tower Hobbies is showing the Carrera Revell version #RMX 14512. All with different prices. Anyone know what the difference is between the 3? -
Amazon Kit Deals
Perspect Scale Modelworks replied to OldNYJim's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I ordered the AMT 68 GTO from Amazon through a seller named DDK Collectables. No huge discount but with free shipping it was about $5 less than other retailers. Best of all it arrived next day with zero damage. Not mad at Amazon over here. -
tamiya
Perspect Scale Modelworks replied to gary jackson's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
For me the Tamiya razor saw is good for big cuts where accuracy is not an issue. Last year I bought an off brand set of PE saws from Amazon just to see what they were like. I love them especially for intricate cuts. I've used them many times and they're still sharp. Even helpful in scribing. They can bend easily so as it's been said, go easy and let the saw do the work. My suggestion is to get both the razor saw and a set of PE saws. That way you're prepared for anything. -
Sweet! Geronimo makes some really nice stuff. Nice job & pics.
