  1. 48 inches wide, 33 inches deep, I would have liked it to be smaller, but to have enough room for other vehicles on the ‘lot’ , it had to be that large. I think otherwise, it would’ve come out looking ‘cramped’.
  2. ......tread lightly, as I have recently found out, these get out of hand rather quickly, lol. seriously, excellent idea to get those bits and pieces out of the parts bin and put to use.
  3. That’s not too bad, good sized, but not overwhelming, unlike the monstrosity I have going, haha.
  4. You are definitely on the right path, she’s looking good!
  5. Well, now I am sad. I built the AMT version of this kit and it was ‘an experience’ to put it kindly, I also bought one of these kits thinking it HAD to be better than the AMT offering, but it looks like it has its own issues as well . having said all that, you look like you’re winning the battle, it’s looking quite good!
  6. Popcorn at the ready, looking forward to this one?
  7. Holy cow! I thought I was making good progress! Looking good, looks almost ready for action!
  8. Wow, 30 is a lot! You boys better not slack off, I want to see at minimum 20 get finished ?
  9. Thanks all, been plugging away on this. In no particular order ( cause my pics always show up out of order) , got frame painted, cab/hood/sleeper in primer and interior bits of said parts are in a coat of mythical maroon, and the engine has a coat of color on it. Decided to make the engine slightly dirty on this one, not horrible, but some grime. Thanks for following along, should have a roller by the weekend I think.
  10. Out of curiosity, what will be the full ‘foot print’ of your entire project?
  11. Looking good!
  12. Great looking bunch, that Hudson has just got ‘it’, love that one.

Thank for the kind words everyone. i think my favorite is the veggie truck as well, it came out very close to what I had in my minds eye.
  14. I thought it was pretty good, worth watching for sure
  15. Cool project, this is going to be neat.
  16. As to the paint coverage, I like to glue as much as possible to the frame before primer/paint. What I do is prime in gray model primer , then use an automotive primer that is close to the frame color, I find you can put quite a bit of primer on before it runs/sags/pools up, being close to frame color helps hide some of the areas you can’t quite get to with the paint ( without making the paint run/sag)
  17. I may have to rethink these smaller scale rigs, that’s just too cool!
  18. Great progress so far, always liked the look of these.
  19. Looking good from here! Cool project!
  20. Wow, you’re zooming right along! Looking good so far.
  21. Don’t let the kit intimidate you, it’s like any other kit, you build it one piece at a time , and I like your idea.
  22. Glad this is back on the bench, I know you’re not short on spare parts, haha.
  23. Is it done yet? Lol. Hate to sound like a broken record, but looking forward to seeing this evolve .
