Another cool build in the mix, I know this one will be interesting as it evolves.

This is another kit you don’t see a lot of built examples of, look forward to seeing it reborn.

The frame on this kit is pretty long as is, what’re you thinking build-wise?

It’s a great kit, but do yourself a favor and find the Revell instructions for it ( hopefully they are still on-line) , the moebius directions are kind of vague in some areas. They do build up very nice though. also of note , the mounts for the front of the floor are never the correct height ( pro Star has the same issue), they have a tab on them that fits into a notch in the floor, I sand the tab off to start with, once your cab is complete, you may need to sand more off the mounts to get everything level, just ask me how I know, haha. looks like you beat me to the Revell instruction thing, they used to be on revell’s website, maybe still there?

They aren’t , but, I ‘think’ it’s going to be close enough to get away with it. The last 1/24 italeri rig I did I paired with AMT’s flatbed trailer, and it looks pretty good.

Well then, you can say you saw it here first , haha. It is officially started...

Thanks guys, I’ve built 3 of the trailers before, but have not built the rig kit before, I’m sure it’ll be standard italeri fare as far as frame/engine goes. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one at a show, and maybe only one here. Should be a fun build.

I’ve cut up that chevelle kit to do a few ‘big tire’ cars, AMT 41 Plymouth, revellogram 59 caddy and a Lindberg 66 chevelle. Depending on the kit I’m using, I hack the back half off the chassis plate and graft in to the original kits chassis plate .

That’s going to look great with the car trailer behind it.
