BRBO Ford Aeromax 120/ 53 foot refer
tbill replied to tbill's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
They aren’t , but, I ‘think’ it’s going to be close enough to get away with it. The last 1/24 italeri rig I did I paired with AMT’s flatbed trailer, and it looks pretty good. -

Gotcha, I’m going to follow this so if/when you do find a drop on, I can also steal the plans?

Thanks guys, I’ve built 3 of the trailers before, but have not built the rig kit before, I’m sure it’ll be standard italeri fare as far as frame/engine goes. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one at a show, and maybe only one here. Should be a fun build. -
I’ve cut up that chevelle kit to do a few ‘big tire’ cars, AMT 41 Plymouth, revellogram 59 caddy and a Lindberg 66 chevelle. Depending on the kit I’m using, I hack the back half off the chassis plate and graft in to the original kits chassis plate .

That’s going to look great with the car trailer behind it. -

Great collection, I too dig the pro street caprice!

Built more than I thought, I usually don’t get much bench time from April to September , so it was still a productive year. Thanks for looking.

So sad to read this, sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and your family .

Haha, that’s good stuff right there !

Beautiful work!

Even if you don’t make the deadline, I know this is going to be a knock out when done!

Haha, ya, I thought this was going to be ‘in between’ work, but I’ve been absorbed by it this past week. I’ve finished the engine crane/engine/trans combo and ended up building one of the amt parts pack dirt bikes to have around the shop. Bike isn’t quite finished, but close. As usual, thanks for looking.

Or how well traveled about the house bmf can be. I always put the cut scraps in one spot on the bench when doing foil, when I’m finished, I peel it up, wad it up and toss it out. Yet, weeks later I find small bits in the laundry, on the couch, and anywhere else I happened to go in the house.....
