  1. Welcome back Jim. I'm anxious to see the result. I like the idea.
  2. Fantastic job!!
  3. Thanks Tim. I've never had a problem dealing with Steve, and I'm glad to hear it's nothing serious. If you ordered it, I'm confident that you are covered!
  4. Sweet!
  5. Hey guys. I didn't see this announced but when I went to order some Boss 429 valve covers I saw that Calnaga Castings in suspending orders until 2018!
  6. That's among the sweetest '70 Chevelle SS builds I've ever seen. I love the color scheme, and the wheels fit the car perfectly. Kudos Shane.
  7. Nice paintwork! Clean build.
  8. Good stuff!
  9. Interesting kit! Great engine detailing. May I ask Erik where you got the bulk wire (hopefully not locally I hope, my plane is grounded :-), and what size it is? I've seen a lot of wire used that is too fat for me. That looks just right.
  10. Thanks guys. Ron, the spoiler is actually the rear roll pan from a BMW Z3 turned upside down. I used the front air dam from the C5R Corvette kit to cap it off.
  11. This is something I put together from parts left over from several kits I used on other builds. The engine and interior is C-7 Corvette, the suspension is part C-7, part Viper. I loved building it. I hope you enjoy it.
  12. Really nice work!
  13. Impressive build!
  14. Nice clean build. Great detail!
  15. Fantastic build!
  16. That is a very interesting color combo. I like it! Nice build!
  17. Should be a nice build. Great idea!
  18. That ICON Malibu is the way to go. That's mean! With your take on it of course.
  19. Nice!
  20. Now that's being different! Sweet!
  21. Nice choice Erik! You may be able to find some different tires for those rims. Btw, are those the new Pegasus wheels?
  22. Wow! Some fast starts out the gate this year! I'm still in the planning stages with the XLR. I did some sanding to get some initial smoothness to the body before priming and cut the top off and cut the hood out. Now I'm contemplating what to do about the wheel wells. I cut the wheel wells from the 'Vette body and taped them inside the XLR to get an idea of how I far I need to reduce the size before adding the tubs for the flares. It's not a whole lot, but it drastically affects the look of the car. Any suggestions? Thanks.
  23. Some might call it "understated elegance". I just call it sweet!
  24. VCG Resins has rails and some injector setups, and on the more pricier side, 3D Model Specialties on Shapeways has options that might require some creative adjustment. I just ordered their FI manifold for their BBC Brodix engine but plan to adapt it to a Ford engine.
  25. I really love the paintwork! Nice detail on the whole car!
