  1. Nice work Matthew! Looks like you're winding it down now.
  2. Shaping up nicely!!
  3. My Land Cruiser entry kept the drivetrain mostly stock as these vehicles have proven themselves off-road capable, although I did add propane injection to help with fuel economy on the stretches where it might be tough to get fuel. I also added a fabricated top-mounted intercooler and fabricated a more efficient air filter box as the stock units are notoriously restrictive. I added an additional fuel tank and sealed the fuel door and added dual quick fill fuel inlets to the side of the truck. I fabricated the off road jack, and both bumpers, clevis on the rear bumper and the winch on the front. The winch was all bits and parts from the parts bin except the rollers on the front which came from the kit bumper. The lights were fabricated as well from styrene channel and beads. The snorkel was fabricated except for the inlet at the top. I just didn't like the body from the unit I bought. There's more but enough words, I hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I did building it.
  4. Wow, nice builds guys. I just finished my pics for the Aussieball so I'll be full bore on the truck. Having trouble getting the suspension squared up. I'll post pics when I've got all four wheels on the ground!
  5. Nice work!
  6. Impressive work Randy!
  7. Outstanding!!
  8. Fantastic work! Just like the big boys with the tucked in bumpers and updated look. Love the seat work!
  9. I forgot your warning Fred about the clearcoat! I will receive appropriate demerit I'm sure!
  10. Very nice! Worth the wait!
  11. Lot of good fabricating work going on in this forum. I did very little fab work other than some parts pieces like the jack and the bumper. Just a peek at my progress at crunch time. Still finishing up the front bumper and lights. I fabricated a LED light bar but needs some massaging to fit on the drip rail. Also need to add the side mirrors and other minor details.
  12. I typically use steel line for the carb hookup. I've used braid to a Tee connection and then bead wire to the carb for a double pumper. Also, different braided wire has different characteristics. Some has wire in it, some don't. Finally, check Ted's YouTube vid, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=98v1g1kZgrg Good luck!
  13. Totally rad!! Great detail, and great scratch-building!! I'm thoroughly impressed!
