  1. Thanks for the review Michael. I've had my eye on that kit but I'm trying to show some restraint while I catch up on unfinished builds. You just made it that much harder!
  2. Hey folks. I've never done a dio before and I'd like to make one based on the pic, different car though. What kind of medium would be good to form the piles of snow made by the plow? As you can see, it isn't the same height along the road (as it shouldn't be). I've looked at foam but it won't give the width at the base. Thanks.
  3. Above all else, be careful with all the sharps and paint, and have fun!!
  4. Great tip! I'll give it a try as well!
  5. Welcome Joe. Most of all, have fun!
  6. Yeah, I think that would be a tad over 215hp! Good luck. I had a V-6 '85. It was underpowered but I loved that thing.
  7. Hey guys, I'm posting this just to get something in. I mocked up my wheels after adding the skeleton for my flares. I used the rear quarters from a parts box Viper body for the flares and added styrene for the rest. I'd hoped to have the hood on for this pic but I er can't find it. Actually losing my mind looking for it. A hood of all things!
  8. Welcome Evan.
  9. Sweet!!
  10. Wow! Nice work on that recess!
  11. I like it Bill. Here is what I did with a Cord but I wish I'd kept the engine cover like your concept and that it sat lower.
  12. Nice start. I love the idea.
  13. Nice!!
  14. I got the email and was glad to hear someone had taken it over. Choice is good.
  15. Nice paint and foil work!
  16. Nice work Kevin! Great detail on the interiors and engines.
  17. On the pricier side 3-D Model Specialties on Shapeways have a wheel very similar to the ones on that pic you posted. These are the rears. Only 16" though.
  18. Megahobby has them now as well. Just started carrying them. https://www.megahobby.com/brands/molotow-liquid-chrome
  19. Oh yes, that sits just right!!
  20. Nice work!!
  21. I didn't do a rear seat delete but I cut out the molded-in seat on a '56 T-bird, and you are correct that it is a challenge. One thing to make sure of is that you account for all of the chassis contours. I had to cut an entire section out and then create a new one using sheet styrene. If you have any parts box interiors without a rear seat I suggest seeing if the rear section can be used. I also did a quick search on roll bars for your car and I see that a lot of them don't have straight bars but curve around the seat. Well, good luck. Btw, what engine are you planning on running?
  22. Welcome Everett. Most of all have fun!!
  23. Nice chassis choice Bill but it looks a little short. Check it out with some wheels on it.
