  1. Nicely done! The BFXers were and continue to be overshadowed by the AFXers.
  2. Nice!
  3. Killer!
  4. That thing is awesome! It should be named "Barely Legal"! ?
  5. I did a 50 Olds similarly. I bought the MAD chopped body so I did this using leftover parts from other builds. It was really fun.
  6. There are aftermarket billet Hemis made from solid aluminum billet, so you mimic those. The attached pic is of a SOHC Ford engine from a build I'm working on now. I used Testors Aluminum Plate. You have to plan well with most metalizers though because they rub off. You can use clear varnish to keep it from doing that though, but it affects the finish.
  7. Well done!
  8. Nice!
  9. That is one beautiful build!
  10. I haven't posted progress on this but I've been working. I had problems with my compressor so I wound up rattle canning it. Not the results I wanted but I'll stick with it. Just a bit more to go. I've got to string the winch and attach it and the hooks. Not sure if I'll add the tow hooks that came with it or fabricate some clevises. I've also got a trailer hitch I want to add under the license plate. I fabricated some later model door handles because I just couldn't see leaving on the blobs that came molded on the doors. The mirrors are from a Viper kit I parted out for the engine.
  11. Nice project! I love the changes you made.
  12. Sweet build! I have that hood for my pending 71.
  13. Love it!
  14. Nicely done! Looks awesome.
  15. I'd like to jump in with this. I started it a while back and botched the paint and put it in the purple pond, which means the bodywork melted away. Threw it in a box where its sat. I started on it this week and while going through posts I thought it'd be fun to join in. Its a Little Red Truck conversion to 4WD and styleside bed. The bed was rough with ill-fitting taillights so that's really the focus now. I had previously destroyed the front grille and fabricated a new one that I'm now molding in. I think I'll be going to a satin paint this time for the body. I'll leave the chassis as is. Hopefully it won't look goofy. Thanks.
  16. Well done!
  17. Nice! I love that chassis jig.

  19. Fantastic build! The paint is awesome.
