  1. Thanks for posting your progress on this build. These kit were the dawn of my model building.I was a sophomore in high school when the real cars were in the local dealers showrooms and I fell in love with 'em instantaneously. They were so radically different from the tri fives that proceeded them and had a low powerful look to them.Great memories all around.
  2. Good looking grunge rod.Love the metal finish too.
  3. Nice triple black caddy build. Thanks for sharing.
  4. Sweet and low!I love that you to the time to post a link to the in progress instructions as well. The graphics are very appropriate to the theme as well.I especially like the scallops that end above the custom tail lights.Nice touch. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Great eye for the possibility of a stock body conversion from a Ford into a Willys.Great job and thanks for sharing your talent with us.
  6. Great work on the rims. They ''ll make a nice addition to the custom look of this build.
  7. Nice build!Great to see someone building these iconic trailers in any scale. It's great that you build what ever you want in what ever scale you done. Thanks for sharing!
  8. Nice try all you earth bound speed freaks, but really is there actually anything faster than"warp"speed?Unless of course double warp exists!
  9. Nice build Ray.This is the only one of Jimmy Flintstone's super stretched Studebaker bodys I have ever seen finished.Cool stuff,Thanks for sharing.
  10. Yes it does.Send me your email address and I'll send some photos if you're intrested. That side marking on the tank of my truck says"Daisy Glue Co."alluding to those of a certain age seeking a cheap high by sniffing glue. The nose is a resin piece made for me as a favor by Don Holthaus. The master was a candy dispenser that dropped a piece of hard candy from a nostril when you pushed in the right place.Real high class rumor there but typical for me.
  11. Very slick looking. This version will bring the '29 into the 21st.century.
  12. Nice version of a classic hot rod. Thanks for sharing!
  13. You have a unique skill set and the knowledge to put it to work.I personally would never have even considered attempting this type a project at my age but this certainly seems to be viable method of producing unique and intresting parts. The tutorial would be a great tool for those wanting to add to their arsenal of modeling skills.
  14. Nice!I'd love to hear the real one running at full throttle. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
  15. Oh my!Please post more of these here for us all to enjoy.Your models are amazing and obviously well researched. Thanks so much for posting your photos.
  16. Great truck.Overall proportions are excellent as well. Thanks for sharing your talent with the rest of us.
  17. A down and dirty dually.I love it!Thanks for posting.
  18. Nice to see an unusual take on a classic model truck. Thanks for posting your photos.
  19. Nice detail work on the wrecker boom.Looks great and the rusted surfaces have great texture as well. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Nice chassis swap,a lot of work but worth the effort.Where are you sourcing your decals?
  21. Nice start here. The chop Is looking really slick. As to whether or not you build hot rods.....it depends on whose set of rules you look at to determine what defines a hot rod.For decades the designation was determined by the year the vehicle was manufactured. That year was always 1948.Any vehicle manufactured up until '48 was a hot rod.'49 and newer was and still is a custom. How many readers remember the column in Rod And Custom Magazine titled "Across 49th Street"? This should be a great Custom and a fun build to watch develop. Thanks for sharing!
  22. Nice period custom.Great finish and shine also. The only change I personally would have made would be to add new drip molding over the windows.Just a personal thing not in any way criticizing your choices. Thanks for sharing.
  23. Again,very realistic and well done model!Congrats.
  24. Thanks Gary.Your wooden teardrop inspired me to build one last month..I used a tracing of the rear fender profile from a '35 Auburn speedster as the basic shape, made a sheet styrene shell then covered it with cherry veneer and added basswood design elements for contrast. Thanks for sharing.
  25. Great job on this! The weathering really makes it look more realistic, very subtle and done just right.Where did you find your basic trailer dimensions?
