  1. The hardest part of building scale gas pumps for is the handles on the end of the hose.Does antone have a source for them in 1/25 or any tips for making your own?
  2. I kind of like your security system....one huge muscle bound super hero type is bound to deter a lot of would-be bad guys.
  3. I suggest using printer's aluminum plate for the baldes. They would be the right sale thickness and very easy to form to any shape needed.
  4. Great realisim and attention to realistic details. The grass blends into the gravel driveway just right with no clean straight edges. The outdoor phorography is very well done. Thanks for sharing with us.
  5. Did you find the information you were looking for?If not I have a ruler that is in 1/25th scale and I will mail you a photo copy of it if that will help.PM me your address and I'll send it out.
  6. Jaw droppingly beautiful stuff !!
  7. Nice project and an unusual body choice. It remindss me of my first trip to the NHRA Indy national championships in 1964.Sahs and Sons were running their supercharged '64 Comet.Talk about a tire somkin show! The NHRA personell weren't quite sure how to classify them so they put them in B fuel dragster. That trip to Indy and some follow up magazine articles eventually inspired me to build a model of it from an AMT Comet craftsman series snap type kit.Rare kit now but then they were commonly on sale for $1.00.
  8. Overall a realy cohesive design,great lines and "Killah"paint !!
  9. I notrice an empty wine glass in one of those photos. Is that for inspiration or are you thinking that a nice deep wine color paint might look really nice on those '29 fenders ?
  10. Personally I like the earth tones. That is something completely different.A worthy project overall.
  11. You make an excellent decision when you took the interior rear seat pleats over the seats and into the package tray. The purple piping absolutely makes that interior come alive. Thanks for sharing.
  12. It will be interesting to see how you include other systems into this concept like cooling system and exhaust exit from the body shell. This would be a really noisy interior as well for all occupants. Will there be some seperation between the cockpit and engine compartment?I will be watching this build as it progresses. Thanks for sharing.
  13. I have been saying for years that there could(not necessarily should)be an oval track venue for racing these bar stools.Could be called "Nasbar",no problem with fermented adult beverage manufacturing sponsorship and best of all......it would give a whole new meaning to the term drafting !
  14. Lookin good Blair!I hope you have a huge display case for all the stuff you have built and were kind enough to share with us. I would still like you to post a drawing of the panels you scratchbuilt for the kool bread delivery vans you have built.A set of drawing with some dimension would undountedly inspire a lot of us to build something similar.
  15. I like the overall concept but IMHO I would have to level that bed out.just sayin...
  16. I have a special soft spot for those tear drops.I did the master for Don's original teardrop several years ago.He did a super job upgrading it for the current version.I traced around an AMT '36 Ford rear fender for the basic shape of it,expanded it on a copy machine until it was large enough to be in 1/25th scale. The sides were cut from an AMT 1/43rd scale semi trailer to get the ribbed effect. The windows were cut from a 1/25 AMT semi tractor kit's sleeper. Your is very cool.I particularly like the ribbed roof. There are a lot versions of these in the 1:1 world so there is a lot of inspiration available on the internet including Pintrest. Thanks for sharing this excellent project with us.
  17. Thanks for sharing. In case anyone is intrested there is an NNL section on pintrest also.
  18. Please post some pictures of the completed engine before you install it.That level of creative detail will serve as inspiration for a lot of builders. How did you make those collectors on the end of your exhaust pipes?I am building a 1920 Olds track roadster hot rod that I would like to make a collector"can" for 4 pipes. Great photos,Very clear and nice depth of field.
  19. Great detail work on the chassis.Your paint work makes it pop.
  20. It's amazing how that tail gate just tucked right in there.Looks so natural there.I think this should be sponsored by some company that make zero turn equipment.
  21. Nice save!
  22. Amazing model. It has what I like to call"the gotcha factor"! Kind of of grabs you by the eyeballs and won't let go.Extremely kool!!
  23. My favorite would have to be the Sanford piece. It's just plain neat.
