  1. Try the link. Facebook is nothing more than a website. I would attach the PDF file except this forum does not allow those types of attachments. If you are still not sure or just not a fan FB send me a message with your email and I can send you the PDF price list.
  2. There is always a good turnout of car, truck and motorcycle models in the contest and of course all the military subjects, Gundam and thousands of kits for sale.
  3. You noticed that too. ? With the relatively inexpensive Trumpeter/Magnifer and MENG kits the $11,000 price tag would scare 99.9% of people away. At least the engine has a distributor. ? https://cmamodels.com/model-kits/gt-40-mk-ii-le-mans-1966-winner/ The V-R-M 427 Cobra decal sheet that is “coming soon” is running a close 2nd for not holding my breath when we will see them for sale. It would be nice as the set looks nice and is only $15.
  4. What color decal?
  5. Looks very nice. I believe that is the Revell/Monogram kit.
  6. Very nice build. I had to double up on the decals as I experienced the same issue.
  7. Did the original ones attach on the outside of the window or where they molded into the rear window?
  8. The larger online hobby stores have them listed as being in stock.
  9. Looks great in that color. Nice work.
  10. I forgot an important word. I have seen the conversion parts on Ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/293770488065?hash=item446615e901:g:r7kAAOSwD75ffUP-&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwGAFfLNVCpnvjch39vyKm9UMQYHnxOir7DKWwYfDjv937QWuUgwdNieAvvd7e5vdwrGMUHIGOqd3KdlggqGbHUBbD67cUWbS0vh1VYzccZCf8xMOdcoBjDBZgu5n7CTnNYL1em%2B41xOKJTBvejNgmPCjfsFBZPDfxttu2599XY0EyQ9195INGzqMzp3Uan9X2gRe%2F2WmvsmoH%2FK8j%2BO%2Fj079cEfJf748t3k4tdhKNiVHW77Gw226Dr%2FaTuGQ1VzirA%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR-TCgLizYw
  11. Fantastic conversion and build. I have seen some resin conversion kit and decals for the Daytona version.
  12. I managed to put one together from kit and resin parts and aftermarket decals.
  13. Looks great. There are differences between 65-66 and the 71-73 ones but the VCG one looks a heck of a lot better than what I could scratch build. Perhaps VCG will consider printing the 71-73 ones for the new Revell Mach1 kit.
  14. Looks like the VCG resin ones.
  15. Nothing on the Grammy website yet. Country music lost another star. RIP Toby - he battled cancer with dignity to the end.
  16. When I get a chance I can post the Keith Marks, Rays kits and Revell decals for comparison. You would need the Mach1 decals for the fenders and trunk stripe from and aftermarket decal set if you want to do a Mach1 with the silver stripe option. The first picture is the decal sheet available from Keith Marks. They look dark silver but are actually like the Revell and AMT sets. Mofobow@hotmail.com for order info The second picture is the Boss 351 Revell silver portion of the sheet and the AMT decal sheet of the silver Mach1 stripes. Perhaps they could be combined with the Boss 351 decals to make a Mach1 using the Revell kit. The AMT decals looks a little smaller than the Revell ones. The third sheet is the combo Boss 351/Mach1 sheet from Rayskits which can be printed in Silver instead of black upon request. They are sold via the Facebook page by Joseph Morgan. Please note the letting for the words Mach1, Boss 351 on the fenders and truck lid and 351 or 429 ram air on the hood were always either black or silver lettering and were not white. Hope this helps everyone.
  17. Imagine the response to an Eleanor version not being factory correct or not having non stock items. For the record not a single 71-73 Mustang came with rear window louvers from Ford. Any louvers seen on a car are aftermarket ones. I plan to mix and match parts from the Boss 351 and the 007 kits to make whatever I want.
  18. Someone at MPC product planning must have said that Ford MKIV chassis could pass for a VW based kit car chassis. It’s not like kids buying kits would know was the thinking at the time I guess. Another source says they used a modified VW engine and not one from a Porsche. The sound was dubbed in to make it sound more powerful. This YouTube video corrects a lot of the misinformation about the cars.
  19. I would have to say to contact Rayskits would be the most likely to are one as he has done extensive decals sheets with all sorts of air cleaner decals and other under hood stuff. https://rayskits.com/product/1967-1978-ford-motor-company-air-cleaner-engine-bay-decals/
  20. I reviewed the AMT/MPC 007 Mach1 kit about three years ago for a a local model club newsletter. Needless to say I was less than excited about that one. If anyone held off on buying one the wait for the Revell new tooling was worth it.
  21. Engines from both Revell Mustang kits for reference.
  22. I do not have the Torino kit engine for comparison but from pictures I would have to say it looks similar. The 385 series engine in the Cougar, Mustang and Torino whether a CJ or SCJ version would have many external similarities with the air cleaner non-ram air vs. non ram air, and carburetor (Holley vs. Rochester). The best site for information is http://429mustangcougarinfo.50megs.com/information_2.htm With the specifics about the movie car (429 C code non ram-air auto) and perhaps a reluctance from a cost standpoint to make the different parts just for the movie car version under the hood might explain the compromises. One would only know if they were part of the process but I believe enough information was available but the final decisions should not detract from the fact that this kit and the additional variations surely to come will be welcome.
  23. It would be wise too as between the Boss 351 and this kit the parts and basically there already and with some decals and perhaps the under hood ram air plenum (if it fits) that would ensure a lot more sales.
  24. Saw this one today at the American Muscle Car museum.
