  9. Built this awhile back, but didn't have a chance to post it until now. Not bad for an AMT model. SAM_2539 by Eric Lucas, on Fli SAM_2542 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_2541 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr SAM_2540 by Eric Lucas, on Flickr
  10. Bought this a few months ago at Ollie's for $6. Despite it having rained every day for the past month I finally got around to building it now; the first week it hasn't rained. The kit itself isn't too bad for a Lindberg. My problem was the directions, which are photos of the model being built in black and white (painted) with descriptions of where to put the pieces. Kinda hard to tell where things go. I was also sad that there were no decals, even though the box shows decals. Still, it came out looking nice. 11. These are interesting cars. Saw one at a show in Charleston; they are super low to the ground.
  12. They're not bad kits. I have two myself.
  13. Nice work. Wouldn't mid finding that grill for one of my cars.
  14. Sweet
  15. Saw a model site that changed their posting for the new Boss 302 kit from 2nd quarter to 4th quarter, so maybe there's still some hope at some kits late this year.
  16. Very Nice
  17. Nice. I've been meaning to pick one of these up myself. I use to see a red 65 driving about town years ago and fell in love with the design. They're a beautiful car, even if they lack the power my Chevelle had.
  18. Tried to make it as accurate as possible. Looked thru a couple of car guides and a bunch of photos to see what the interior and engine should look like. The box had a gold engine, but I found photos in a book that showed blue and green as well. Came out pretty good. The model itself was a pleasure to build. Just a lot of parts. My only problem are with the parking lights. In the front they don't look too bad, but in back the holes made it look like there were no lights to begin with. So I went ahead and made the 1953 version without those lights. 19. Nice, much better than the one I built. I wasn't impressed with the AMT version.
  20. Extremely nice.
  21. They had some good deals, I bought the Mercedes. Was a little disappointed, the flyer said 75 different models, but I only counted 20 between the planes, boats, and cars.
  22. Saw one awhile back, but didn't have the money to buy it. Haven't seen one since. Nice build.
