With the new release by Atlantis of the old MonoRev 1/32 scale funny cars, I decided to try a build combining an old Mono 1/32 scale TD ("Earthquake") Vega FC body with a new Atlantis Jungle Jim 1/32 scale Vega FC kit. The new Atlantis JJ Vega has a later body that JJ did not use but I had an old Mono 1/32 TD Vega body that was closer to what he did use. The motor, chassis and interior tin are better on the Atlantis (Revell) JJ kit. Did have to lengthen the chassis to fit the Mono Vega body. The injector ports, wheelie bars and some sponsor decals are from the spare parts box. Glad to see the rereleases by Atlantis. Let me know what you think.

Man, I'm telling you, Studebaker didn't put that much effort into the real truck. Outstanding work so far.

Man, I don't think a real Studebaker truck looked this accurate. Really nice work.

Really good job on this Grumpy build. Great engine and bay work, the box parts were not close. I have a '66, '68, '74, '76, '81 and '83 Grumpy's Toys in progress.

Incredible work on those headers. I was happy to find an old set of Johan funny car headers I worked into my attempt years ago that looked okay.

Wow, some great work there. Like the start of #4. I have #10 on the shelf waiting it's turn. -

Great start. I built a replica years ago but I could not find a '49 Business coupe so I used a '41 as they were easier to get. Will be following.

Looking good. Looks like your missing the optional AC unit (it was in the MPC rerelease Hot Rodder's Tall T version) that could go in a back window?

Outstanding work on a difficult kit.

Here's a build I put together using leftover parts from other kits. Body, engine, interior, wheels and chassis are from an MPC 4x4 Deserter truck. Suspension and tires are from an AMT Stones Ford 4x4 truck. Paint is Testors rattlecan Firey Orange Lacquer. Let me know what you think.

Well I'm calling this done. A kitbashed build of the original Bigfoot #1 with 48" tires and wheels. Body, interior, engine (blower, carbs and headers are from the parts box) and frame are from the AMT Firestone 1978 Ford 4x4 kit. Suspension, wheel flares, roll bar and front bumper are parts from the AMT USA-1 monster truck kit. Wheels and tires are from an AMT 1/32nd monster truck that scale out to about 48" in 1/25th scale. Paint is Testors rattle can Star-Spangled Blue Lacquer. The BMF was a chore. Decals were provided by a member of the forum. Build post in the WIP section. Let me know what you think about it.
