  1. Very nice job! I believe that drawing was done by Jairus. Mike
  2. Very nice! Makes me want to finish mine. I will have to get e set of those hubcaps as well. Mike
  3. Love that kit. Yours turned out great. Mike
  4. Thats a cool little car. Car, I mean screamer. Mike
  5. That turned out really nice. Great details. May I suggest just a couple more that people usually miss? First, there is a chrome piece of metal the goes at the bottom of the windshield and goes under the wipers. Next, I have a picture in case you need to see what I am talking about, but there are thin "gills" on the tail lights on the big side that comes out at an angle. You can see them on the kit piece if you look real close. They usually have black around edge and the red lens shows through. Just a couple little things I thought would be easy to add, even where it is now, but only if you want to. Mike
  6. I like the red interior. And yes, the tires are going the right direction. The arrow formed by the tread should point forward on top and to the read when looking under the car. (I used to work at a tire shop mounting tires) Mike
  7. Great pics! Wish I could have made it. This is a true NNL (I believe the original as well). As such, there are no awards except maybe a people's choice. Great time to get together and talk. Mike
  8. The 67 plymouth is not quite the same as a 67 Dodge. Though, now you have my wheels turning. I have to pull out my my GTX and compare the bodies. Mike
  9. Thatnks for all the info. Even being a Mopar guy, I can say something didn't look right to me, but couldn't tell just what. I would love to see your pics Mr Obsessive. I have some plans for one, though modified, but this would definately make it look better. Mike
  10. Here is a link to some of the original concept sketches. http://www.hubgarage.com/mygarage/EBdesign/vehicles/35247 Here is the interior. http://www.hubgarage...y-interior1.jpg I believe he has an engine shot on his FB page. I will take a look and let you know if that is where I saw it. Mike
  11. That is just too cool, er funny. I love it! Looks fun. Mike
  12. I like it. I had that idea when I swapped the back of the Cougar to put on a 74 Mustang. The 70 back looks a lot better. Nice factory phantom. Mike
  13. I used to work with a guy who, when he was going to college bought a 69 Nova for $300. He drove it a couple of years, then said even back then the costs were getting to him. It always leaked oil and was terrible on gas. He ended up selling it for $100. Yea, he didn't find out till about 5 years later about the stats of a 69 Nova SS 396. He marks it up to not knowing anything about cars at the time, though I wonder since he knew what engine size it had (from doing oil changes) and remembered the SS on the front and back. Mike
  14. Shiney things. Seriously though, it would be anything that would come up and delay the flow of the build. I have projects at all different stages because something came up that would take too much time or haven't figured a good way to handle a problem that came up. Mike
  15. Very nice. I wish I could make mine look like that. Mike
  16. The 50 Ford truck by Monogram, the 2n1 Trucks version, has a set that is very similar to his common Nitrous wheels. The spoke and ring with the rivits are a little thick though. Mike
  17. Very cool1 Wish I could make it out there. We sort of have family in NJ, so I may be out there. Mike
  18. I've got one of the 1/8 scale ones. Detail looks to be of typical Monogram level of detail. I am not that well versed between the two years to tell what year it is though. Mike
  19. This is a good one considering the fit of the panels on the actual car are worse than a scaled down version. Mike
  20. Well, I can't see any pics here at work, but I know it can be done and look good too. Here is my buddy Sean's he did a while ago. It is a slammer though. http://www.svensworldofwheels.com/geopage.html Mike
  21. Very nice so far. I am diggin the concept and execution. Mike
  22. I have a 57 chevy nomad. No pic yet, but I could try to see what I can get if you would like. Mike
  23. Nice color combo! Mike
  24. Wow! That looks great! Super clean and great details. I would also like to see more pics. Are those the kit windows or did you make your own? Mike
  25. Nice job on the piant! What do you use to mask off your stripes? Overall, it loks really good. Mike
