This looks great. I assume you printed the used concrete/checker floor yourself? Have looked for this type of floor but can never find something decent.

Hop in my car to leave the grocery store and Slow Ride is playing on Sirius XM 70's channel so I crank it up. They cut it off! Didn't play the whole song! I've never heard anyone do that before. Every party we had back in the day that song would have to be played.

I used the MPC kit to make a replica of my Jeep from the late 70's. Made the light bar and added a winch, different tail lights, front and rear spot lights, different mirrors and wipers. Painted with Tamiya light metallic blue. Did a lot of 4-wheeling when I had this Jeep and sure enjoyed it.

Had this happen to me many, many years ago and since then I open every kit I buy to make sure everything is there.

Great job on this! You need to get busy and build more models so we can enjoy the results. ๐ -

Great looking model. I have a couple of Heller F1 cars that are half done. As others have said, they aren't the easiest models to build but they did some unique cars like this one. I enjoyed looking at it. -
Watched the goofy Dodge Charger commercial. I believe the blonde at the very end is Pamela Austin in case anyone cares. I say this because I was in deep smit with her back in the day. She was on Love American Style and an Elvis Presley movie..... Probably more but I'm old now and that was a long time ago. ๐

The one piece body was in perfect condition. The chassis was a little warped but once it was fit to the body and epoxied it was ok. Thanks for the comments. -

Revell kit that I bought at Hobby Lobby at 40% off. Thought it looked like a dumb fun project for the winter. Not a bad kit but had to chop off all the molded in exhaust system on the chassis. The decals were excellent which is always nice when finishing up a model. Painted with Testors black and Rustoleum berry pink.

That's a good looking model! It can be fun building these old kits once in awhile for their simplicity.

Great looking model! Nice detail work.

My son and his wife did this with their little dog. The dog is full of energy and they said it took awhile for her not to want to bite Santa. Sorry I don't have a picture handy but it looked very similar to yours. Got to hand it to these Santa's that put up with crying kids and dogs.

I'm usually up by 3 am every day; sometimes 3:30 if I'm lucky but I'm usually asleep at 9 pm so 5 1/2 to 6 hours sleep is the norm. Today I woke up at 2 and finally got up at 2:30. Make a pot of coffee and go out to the garage and work on models while the wife and dogs sleep. Sirius 60's radio keep me company. Been doing this for so long it's what my body is used to I guess.

Very cool! Had to smile the whole video.

Similar thing happened in our neighborhood 20 years ago when we first moved in. It was a street over from us at night with the siren going and you could hear talking on the speaker but not able to make out what they were saying. We thought there was some warning about something so called the non emergency number and asked. The explanation was similar to what you described. Might've heard it a time or two in years past but not anymore.

I have an order on the way from Hobbylinc. Not here yet but got an email today saying "we hope you are enjoying your recent order". I'm guessing this just goes out automatically so no big deal but it did give me a chuckle.

Great looking model. I like the raced look on the body and tires.
