  1. Sad but making progress. I just wish he could've decided on his own to retire. Hate for it to end this way.
  2. Our 2 Westies we had used to watch fireworks from our front window and sometimes bark at certain ones in the street. Funny to watch them and nice they weren't afraid. The occasional thunder we'd get would just make them mad. They'd bark and have the attitude "knock that **** off". Last year was the first 4th we had with our 2 rescue dogs and they seemed fine. They were aware but ok with it. Hopefully it will be the same this year. But, if a UPS truck or FedEx truck comes down the street...... that gets them going!
  3. I didn't even bother watching the video last month and might not this month. Your comments are a pretty good indication of what's going on.
  4. No!!! I enjoy buying from them now and then.
  5. Great looking model. I've built a few of these and know they aren't easy. Great job!
  6. Those seams and photo etch pieces make me cringe. You're a champ for sticking with this. I wish you luck and look forward to the finished model.
  7. Hopefully you don't get a bunch of rain for awhile.
  8. Yep, this was a good explanation about the past week. We just needed to be patient.
  9. There hasn't been any at the Hobby Lobby I've gone to 2 weeks ago and Monday this week. Maybe someday.
  10. Looking real nice. I built this as a kid and decided to buy it when reissued to relive my childhood. Was disappointed there was no clear body but that was my own fault for not paying attention I suppose. Haven't started it yet but your build is getting me motivated.
  11. I don't know who this guy is but he's right about everything he said.
  12. Great looking model with lots of nice detail. Good job!
  13. One of my all-time favorites. He's tough, still wins, and his interviews make me laugh.
  14. I enjoy watching this when it's on tv. As much that I'm amazed at the dogs talent I also appreciate the person coaching the dog has got to be in decent shape.
  15. "Lola" from The Kinks back when I was young. Either we didn't have much in the way of censorship then or they didn't pick up on it. I remember some other kids didn't get it and I was happy to explain it. As mentioned above; Walk On The Wild Side. Censorship wasn't in our face yet.
  16. That turned out real nice. I enjoyed your story with the past experiences with the kit and the comment about the ill fitting air intake hoses. It always amazes me when a kit manufacturer does this sort of thing.
  17. Great looking models of some great looking cars.
  18. I was just telling the wife this very thing the other day when one of these stupid commercials came on. Told her we've been getting along just fine all these years taking a shower and wearing clean clothes with a bit of pit-stick under the arms. Stop already!
  19. Well, you managed to take a horrible car and make something decent out of it. I especially like your paint scheme.

That's real nice. I like the painted frame. I think I have this kit or something similar. Thought it looked fun to tinker with in between my regular model building but remember after opening it I was overwhelmed with all the "pieces". LOTS of work it appears. I admire what you've done.
  21. The Florida Panthers.
  22. Looks like a fun project. Nicely done.
  23. Nice work! Brings back memories.
  24. Always liked the 935. Great looking model and amazing detail!
