Glad you're ok and got to experience an earthquake. Here on the west coast I can tell you a few stories from my life time.

Your model looks great. I've failed the roll bar thing myself.

Ford vs Ferrari #98 Cobra
TonyK replied to Phildaupho's topic in Other Racing: Road Racing, Salt Flat Racers
Nice job on the model and those figures really complete the scene. Enjoyed your story and details about your work. I built this kit and spent WAY too much time looking at pictures and trying to make the model what it's supposed to be. I recall the finished model was a compromise before I went crazy making it exactly right. -
AMT JFK PT109

Nice looking model. I built the Revell version many years ago. -
Quite the nice selection of gourmet meals. Some I really like and some I don't.

The Tropicana is closing today after 67 years. What pleases me is that I once saw a show there many years ago so the memory can live on for me.

What was your first model car?
TonyK replied to Kit Karson's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
These weren't the very first models I built but close to it. They left a lasting impression on me though. Been wanting to get the '66 Impala again and build it as a stock car like I did when I was a kid. -
You did a real nice job on this.

Nice work to save this diecast. Always liked the Cord ever since I was a kid.

How to strip Trumpeter chrome?
TonyK replied to kensar's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Sounds like the same problem dealing with Salvino's chrome. I've tried using a metal file on some parts and that barely scratches the surface. Very frustrating! -

Nice model and a great looking diorama. I appreciate your review of the model. Helps anyone who might build this and informs us of all the work you did. -

Amazing work!!! Really enjoyed looking at your pictures. Looks like the real car! -
My dogs sometimes go to the gas fireplace when it's not on and look at it and then they might sit there and look at me while they're by it. I'll turn it on if I feel the need. 18 years old. That's great.

Whoa! That's a good looking model and a great presentation you've created.

I ordered a few of the full roll cages and they are very nice, clean and crisp looking. As a first time customer I was pleased with the quick shipping and quality of this product. I look forward to needing other things he offers in the future.

Kenworth K100 VIT Australia
TonyK replied to Jürgen M.'s topic in Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
That's a great looking truck! Funny how Revell puts "Australia" on the box but it really isn't. Disappointing for the modeler. -
Same here.

Issue 223?
TonyK replied to rrb124@sbcglobal.net's topic in Model Cars Magazine News and Discussions
I've learned to have patience waiting for my issues as I always get mine much later than the rest and I don't know why. Issue #222 never did show up and Dave was nice enough to send a replacement. Still, I anticipate seeing the magazine every day when I check the mail. Kind of exciting. Kind of disappointing. It will come. ? -
As the others have said....wow and very nice!

I'm very impressed! It's one thing to do this with plastic models but working with a diecast is a different task. Great job!

Great restorations. Your paint jobs are perfect.
