This is an excellent model! All those little decals and the weathering were done so well. -

Simpler looking cars back then. Great job on this and good timing on sharing it. -
Hey, that looks great. Nice paint, engine, stance, and I like the helmet.

Yes, he informed me of the refund the very next day and said he was sorry it ran out of stock.

Yep, one of my favorite versions of the Corvette. Really like the racer.

Someone recently posted a model with a really cool looking drag racing driver from Speed City Resin. I ordered one and the next day my money was refunded because the driver is out of stock. I guess I don't understand how this works. I've had this happen with other resin casters where they ran out of an item and there will be no more. Wouldn't you want to make more because they're selling?

I agree with David G.

Great looking model and great photography. Sure did enjoy that era of racing. Thanks for sharing.

TESTORS AIN'T WHAT IT USED TA BE...
TonyK replied to Mothersworry's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
It's strange that you had so many of these cans do this. As stated above, many of us have had a few problem cans but not 32! I like to use Testors colors for less important parts like chassis, interior, and odds and ends but use Tamiya for bodies and such. More expensive but I never have a problem with those cans. -

Very nice model! Your extra effort was well worth it. I built the Revell of Germany version and it wasn't enjoyable. -
I think it's been pointed out before that people tend to complain more in general than say something went well for them. I believe we hope that someone will chime in on our "irks" so we feel that it's not just our own personal experience. Maybe we'll feel a little better that someone else is mad too. ?

This was quite a project you took on but the finished model looks excellent. -
I sometimes think it's because I'm getting older that so many commercials annoy the "cow pie" out of me but then I realize it's the new way they make them. In your face ones like this woman, all these fat happy singing dancing people with moderate to severe illnesses that a miracle pill will supposedly make you better. On and on. I'm pretty good about ignoring commercials but somehow they STILL get me worked up. It doesn't help that they're shown over and over and over again.

Your background buildings, photography and model made me smile. All look great!

Great looking model and the driver really adds to it!

I noticed that stupid Google window popping up too. If I wanted a closer location I'd type in a city or state, etc. Stop trying to hold my hand. I can manage on my own.
