  1. Lay Down was my favorite song from her and always liked her singing voice and her looks.
  2. I'm no business man but you'd think as the years passed and these models are hard to find, they might reissue them again. Obviously they sold out. But, when Revell released the Joey Saldana Sprint Car I wrote to them suggesting they come out with many more of the models with different sponsors. They replied but the answer wasn't promising and we never saw another version after that.
  3. Nice set-up!
  4. That's a sharp looking dragster. Sometimes those simple kits are a nice break from the usual and you can have fun adding a few touches to make it better as you did.
  5. We need more racing trucks like this but I realize the market may be too small for the model companies to take a chance. They did a few of the European racing trucks and they quickly disappeared so......
  6. Looks great! The lighted interior really looks good and I like all your small detail work.
  7. The squirrels seem to keep their distance and I do the same. Hopefully we continue to show each other respect. It's been this way for years so I'm good with it.
  8. You wonder what happened to the original copy that some of us never got. Post Office delivered it to the wrong address? Ended up in the back room? We'll never know. Glad you were able to stop the replacement copy going out. Hate for the magazine having to pay extra for someone's incompetence but appreciate they do it for us subscribers.
  9. The vibe I got from many modelers was they'd rather have a stock Aston Martin. Thought I'd watch the video but it's an hour long?! I'll wait until I've got more time.
  10. Your model looks great and your photo settings are great too!
  11. I like this!
  12. Madness. How? Great little model you've done there.
  13. I've had mine sitting around waiting to put decals on too. With the horrible weather we're having (my workbench is in the garage) I decided to sit at the dining room table and attempt the decals. What a nightmare! Not looking good at all but I've finished. Now waiting to trim and do a touch-up with paint but I don't expect it to look a whole lot better. btw, your finished model looks great! Excellent work!
  14. This looks great! I remember looking at the 1/24th model of this car and the paint scheme scared me. Your model is very enjoyable to look at.
  15. Answer #1 - I have plans to build every model I've got. Answer #2 - I won't be able to build every one I've got in my life time. I do enjoy looking through my stash to decide which model I'll build next. Nice to have a lot of choices.
  16. What I always wonder about these people buying ridiculous amounts of "whatever" is was your kitchen empty before all this came about? We haven't been to the store for a week but have plenty of things to choose from to eat. Oh, and what irks me is the freezing rain we just got to land on top of the ice we already have. Haven't had a snowflake yet. All ice.
  17. Looks great. All I have left is to put decals on mine. Hopefully it goes well but I'll keep your experience in mind.
  18. It does look nice and I really like that engine detail!
  19. Freezing rain predicted today. Dangerous and destructive. Still gotta take the dogs out now and then.
  20. Yes, I remember reading War of the Worlds when I was a kid and had envisioned it so well in my mind. Then I saw the movie and was hugely disappointed. Started to learn at an early age what Hollywood could do or not do with an original story. There have been some good movies adapted from books though.
  21. I watch the Peacock show every day. I enjoy all of the classes. Don't think I could pick a favorite.
  22. Great job! Those were very nice kits.
  23. Never had the desire to build one of these but sure do enjoy looking at a job well done!
  24. Great job on the scooter and the dog......assuming you had to paint the dog.
  25. Whatever happened to it just snowing? I don't mind snow. You can drive in it, play in it, looks pretty, etc. Even dogs can have fun it it. Anymore it always has to be nasty wind and sleet or freezing rain. I don't even mind real cold temps if the wind and sleet isn't pummeling me when I go outside. Old man rant over.
