  1. Has anyone heard if Revell has plans to replace the Jeep "Lifegaurd" decals? Been tempted to get this kit but the decals turn me off to build the beach patrol version.
  2. The hoarders are at it again. I don't get it.
  3. Thought the same thing. Agreed, with Australian V8 Supercars a close 2nd.
  4. Man, that clock fits perfectly. Nice work. And I like your song references.
  5. Got issue #207 yesterday and a quick thumb through looks as good as always. Lots of different subjects. Always like the model reviews but the photos were funky looking. Great to see a new mag! Good job to everyone involved.
  6. Wow! Always like looking at these characters for the poses and the work done by the builder. Really enjoy looking at all the time and talent put into them. I have a couple of vinyl ( I think ) ones from years ago but haven't done anything because I don't know what to use for adhesive and filler and paint prep. Looked online but was discouraged. I know how to work with resin but not gonna buy another figure when I have a couple already. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Love this movie. The original one.
  8. I've done much better these last few years and don't buy too many models. Seems I've got a new approach where I get excited about the upcoming releases and then when they become available I'm not that excited anymore so I end up not buying them. I sit back and read many comments on message boards about the new kits and that helps my decision whether or not I might buy one.....or two.
  9. That is great! Looks perfect. Nice work.
  10. Painted the figures myself and wouldn't have bought the kit if it was just the truck. Always a sucker for extras like that in a kit. Thanks for the comments.
  11. Saw Three Christs on cable tv. Watched it because of the actors Richard Gere, Peter Dinklage, Bradley Whitford, and Walter Goggins. Probably wouldn't have been interested but like those actors so gave it a shot and really liked it. Believe it was based on a real story about these 3 guys who believe they are Jesus Christ so Richard Gere (a doctor) gets them together at a mental institution and it goes on from there. Great acting and you get caught up in the story and how tough it would be to deal with these guys and their belief that they are Jesus especially when all 3 of them are in the same room.
  12. I don't follow country music but pretty much am aware of who most of the singers are just because I like to know what's going on in the music world. Have liked some of the people in the past; male and female. Always thought George Strait was good. Never heard of Maren Morris so I looked her up. Thank you for that!
  13. You'd think they would come out with more exciting stuff in November and December when people are spending more money either on themselves or someone else. Don't know. I'm no marketing genius; just thinking out loud.
  14. Far out man! That looks like a lot of work but I'll bet it was fun. Nice job.
  15. Your finished model looks great. Don't beat yourself up about the paint "ooops". Done the same thing myself and if you didn't point it out we'd probably never know. Thanks for sharing.
  16. I have to say very nice also. Every angle you showed of this model looks great!
  17. Humans are always quick to complain it seems but we don't always speak out when something "pleases" us. I complain to companies about a product or other things in my life but always make sure I reach out to compliment anyone when I feel the need. I think it should go both ways to be fair.
  18. Lots of favorite comedy movies that I tune into on tv and then have to force myself to switch off because I've seen them so many times. Same with others but my all time favorite is Grand Prix. Saw it with my Dad when I was 10 years old with the big Panavision (think that's what it's called) screen and the visual and audio was breathtaking. Still watch it about once a year.
  19. Wow! Just wow! Not even gonna say anything else.
  20. Nice! Your detail work is done so well, especially the interior. My first car.... but it didn't look quite like this. heh heh

    The figures came pre-painted.
  22. This is an Ebbro kit and a subject I wouldn't normally build but enjoyed it quite a bit. It went together really well but was tough with all the various things and where to put them. Almost like building a diorama. I added some of my own scratch made items to fill the truck a little more. The figures came with it except for the dog. First Ebbro kit I've built and was very satisfied with the quality and fit.

I enjoy the Tom Daniel kits and decided to get this one since the figures were included. The driver didn't want to fit all that well. Somewhat fun to build.
  24. As "a firm racing enthusiast" myself, I would take notice of a taxi like that and want to ride in it.....just because.
  25. Many, many years ago I had Carpal Tunnel and was able to cure it with anti-inflammatory pills and a wrist brace. Took a very long time but I avoided surgery. Still remember the neurologist I was seeing and how excited he was when I told him I'm getting a little better. I did know a couple of guys who had the surgery and it cured them. Good luck to you.
