Oh boy. I keep wanting to build mine but your model scares me. It's great and that intimidates me but I'll try and use it as a guide to try and do a decent job. Very nice model!

Very happy to hear this for you. After leaving our home last week I can relate to your feeling. We are back to a "normal status" so hopefully you will get there soon.

At 3am we had thunder and lightning and hard rain like you wouldn't believe but I'm not complaining. Took the dogs out this morning and was finally able to breathe.....clean air. Hopefully the firefighters were able to dance a little and feel some relief.

I was thinking the same as stated earlier. Your diorama looks more real than the real thing. Don't know how that's possible except to say you're skills are amazing. Enjoyed looking at this.

I think it looks great. You're off to a good start as I never got the hang of it. Tried it quite a few times with years in between and still couldn't do it so kudos to you!

As a kid, Treasure Island, Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn were lots of fun because I could imagine being the young main character in each and the adventure they lived. Had the 7 novels of HG Wells and to this day think they were the best I ever read. That's about it for fiction as I mostly read every WW2 book I could get my hands on to learn from but did read some fictional WW2 books my Dad had.

Yep, a big reason why I watched The Avengers.

So sorry for your loss. I can't fathom how I will survive without my 2 dogs. I always tell people they will live forever and that scares my wife wondering how I will handle it. Whenever I read about other pet owners and their loss it bothers me. That's how important they are to me and how I feel it must be for others as well.

I've heard they're all busy too. What irks me is the tracking system. It's supposed to keep us informed where the package is and when it will arrive which is all good but don't tell me it's going to be on my porch on a certain date and then it isn't and the tracking report goes blank. Uhhhh what have you done?

Colorful! You did a nice job. I think I saw this online somewhere and thought about it but ended up getting the Ebbro food truck instead. First Ebbro kit I've done and it's going together well. Lots of interior parts and 3 figures so it's kind of like a diorama.

For the last few days UPS had a delivery scheduled for me on Sunday the 6th. Sunday seemed a bit odd to me but saw a FedEx truck in my neighborhood yesterday so why not UPS? Even showed out for delivery from Portland Sunday. Nope. Today shows no info. WTF? Today being a holiday I expect nothing. Sometimes I don't understand the tracking system and it seems they all are guilty of this type of thing at one time or another.

Wow! Not just any old kits you have there. I built a 1/32nd scale Auto Union a long time ago because that was all I could find. Didn't know there was a big one out there. Happy for your score.

In a parking lot yesterday when a guy is walking toward me looking at his phone and "thumbing". I stopped and he kept walking toward me and I realized he was about to run into the front of my car so I honked. That woke him up. He was just a few feet away. How would that have played out if he injured himself?

Very, very nice! I remember my Dad always had Dupli-Color paint for each Chevy he owned. Great memory to have and happy that your Dad got to see it.

Too bad you had to go through all that work but the model looks great. I had a couple of Slixx funny car decals that fell apart on me in the past too. Otherwise their product is usually pretty good.
