  1. "O Brother Where Art Thou". So many great things about this movie.
  2. Amazing! The more I look at it the more I'm impressed with your skills. Thanks for sharing.
  3. Very, very sharp looking model!
  4. Great! Always enjoy it when a builder adds extra items to a model. Shows a personal side to the modeler.
  5. I like your thinking and you did a nice job of creating a believable scenario. I've wanted to try and take some existing NASCAR decals to create a similar deal but can't come up with something that will work. Thanks for sharing this.
  6. So glad you went to such pains to build a great replica as I enjoyed looking at all your pictures. It is appreciated!
  7. That's quite a paint scheme and you captured it perfectly. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Just saw this. It's great to look at with all the work you've done to capture an old used vehicle. I always seem to appreciate this type of model better than perfect paint jobs.
  9. All the years I drove a forklift, this really hits home. Looks so real! Great work!
  10. Wow! Two cars that I wouldn't attempt to build myself but sure enjoy looking at the superb job you did. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Very sharp looking Charger and those wheels and tires compliment it well. Had those wheels on my first car and still like them.
  12. Oh, that's a bummer. Geez, I was/still in lust with her. Another victim of this horrible virus and year in general.
  13. Yep, same memories that Danno mentioned. Always liked how Oscar Koveleski was involved in my 2 favorite interests; racing and model cars.
  14. That looks great! I like your interior too. How about some info on what you did there?
  15. AMT Modified Stocker with the suspension lowered, modified the roll cage and added a dashboard even though you can't see it. Used the hood and windshield from the AMT Chevelle station wagon. I really enjoy these Modified Stocker kits and tried to change things a bit but not sure it's all that different.
  16. Typical Tamiya kit that goes together without a single problem. Painted as they suggested with Tamiya German grey and clear. Odd paint scheme with the blue and white but the decal placement worked out fine replicating it. Always enjoy building Tamiya kits and found this one to go together even easier than past kits if that's possible, Everything had nubs or pins on the parts so it was never a problem lining all the odd body parts and other pieces together.
  17. Got the decals from Mike's Decals and they also provided a template for the hood. That was a headache for me but part of the problem was I used too thin a sheet as thicker plastic wouldn't have warped so much when I bent and glued it. The decals were nice to apply without any problems. Sanded the Goodyear off the tires to apply Hoosier decals from my decal stash but not much else needed to be done from the Monogram sprint car kit.
  18. Very nice looking model. Wasn't this car color Tamiya made a specific can of paint for?
  19. ha ha ha You did good. Fun to look at.
  20. Love it! Everything about it captures the era.
  21. A very sharp looking car and I like your choice of decals.
  22. Perfect replica of the real thing. Really like your base too.
  23. Great looking model! Glad you took all those pictures as I really enjoyed looking at your work.
  24. The wife recorded it but we haven't watched it yet. I told her how many times can I watch these documentaries on him? Your "thumbs up" may make me sit down and check it out.
  25. This continued technology always reminds me of the movie Wall-E with everyone being a fat you-know-what spending their life in a chair and everything being done for them with a push of a button.
