Forum Software Upgrade -- Failed
Twokidsnosleep replied to Dave Ambrose's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I cannot even imagine how frustrating and difficult a full upgrade must be....I am impatient just waiting for my computer to start up in the morning Then having re-load the entire forum from a back up....oh yeah fun times You probably need a drink! -

It is looking great Dan, just walk away for a bit and let the proper mood to finish return Nothing worse than rushing to just finish or finish off angry

Vintage Auto Art
Twokidsnosleep replied to Richard Bartrop's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I am a sucker for good auto art, especially on kit boxart. This is my favourite kit box art and car so is destined to be framed up on my wall one day....my pic doesn’t do it justice -

Oh Wow guys, thank you all so much I really appreciate the positive feedback This kit is fantastic and I do highly recommend it. Carbon Fibre with Scale motorsports+ a hairdryer works great...just don't melt parts I changed the Tamiya mesh to painted brass mesh as it just held it's placement better The SK decals are sweet and easily applied, the Splash two part green is awesome but must be applied carefully and not in wet layers...don't panic it works itself out after the second bottle's coats Really no major issues with this kits' assembly, probably the first time I can say that about a model kit. This one just fits together and lets you go for broke detailing. Again I thank all of you guys -

I got her fished over the weekend. Wonderful kit, beautiful fitment from Tamiya Splash Green Hell Mango paint, SK decals, Scale Motorsports carbon fibre

No no guys, nothing to get upset about. It was quite funny to me actually. That is Facebook for you, everyone has an opinion and an a-hole and often they use both when posting.

Thank you. You have a good eye, or two Yes I have been trying to pay attention to that flow with a balance of complementary colours and locations of carbon fibre front back and middle but not too overwhelming I have deviated from the box art as I see fit as these cars are made to order race cars right from the factory so the possibilities are endless. Had someone elsewhere tell me my c/f was "wrong" As our late friend Harry used to say, the variations are your friend as then you can make them into anything you want.

Great project, definitely a cool car Too bad there isn't a kit that adequately shows its internal and external beauty
