Here it am it's made by Pacer Technologies. You can find it at hobby shops (if there are any left near you ), art supply stores, online. Google it and you'll see prices anywhere from $2.50 on ebay to $4.99+ in some online stores.

Feel sorry for what, that they're one level above idiot? They don't have to pay so much for stuff. Since they possess the minimal mental faculties to use a computer and log into ebay, it stands to reason that they should be able to use the search function to look for what they want at a much lower price. Then again, their heads probably whistle when standing outside in a stiff breeze.

Z-7 Debonder is great. Compared to BSI Un-Cure, it's far less aggressive and doesn't attack some types of styrene, i.e., causing them to craze or melt. The fact that it's a gel is a major plus, staying where you apply it.

It's "I couldn't care less", meaning that the amount of care and concern you have about something could not be any less, any lower. "I could care less" is the opposite and means that you do care at some level. So, which sentiment are you trying to convey? Incorrect grammatical usage is a pet peeve of mine. Most of the comments about the prices asked for the Foose pickup are along the line of "What a greedy dude to charge that much." It's a free market. The sellers can ask for whatever they want. Anyone actually buying the kit at those prices should definitely have their sanity questioned, though.

It's $887.18 now. Better hurry and snap it up before it goes to a grand.

What's not to like? It's a cop car.

If you don't already have that kit collecting dust and don't feel like spending $20+ just for the rotator, check out Custom Squads. They have a large selection of resin Federal Signals Beacon Ray lights.

Given the inability of present-day "engineers" to render accurate body dimensions with their fancy-schmancy CAD programs, how about laser scanning an actual vehicle? Reedoak does it to create the most accurate and detailed figures and accessories you ever laid eyes on. Big deal if that would increase the kit price by ten bucks. We all scream about accuracy and getting it right. If you want quality, you're gonna pony up the dough.

White cars with slap-on vinyl graphics has been the norm for a number of years. It saves the maintenance shops time and money by not having to paint the cars in multiple colors. From the 1930s until 1972, NYPD RMP's were painted in three colors. This is the classic Dark Green/Black/White scheme: From 1972 until 1996, RMP's were painted in a blue/white scheme And, from 1997 to the present, the fugly white with decal look

The U.S. Army celebrates its 243rd birthday today. As the oldest and most senior branch of the U.S. military in order of precedence, the modern U.S. Army has its roots in the Continental Army, which was created by the Second Continental Congress on 14 June 1775 to fight the American Revolutionary War, with George Washington appointed as its commander—before the United States of America was established as a country. For 243 years, the U.S. Army has bravely answered the call to protect and defend the United States of America. Semper Primus.

Yeah, they are different. In Milwaukee, kids might hear, "Get off my lawn!" Around here it's, Get off the stoop, you punks!", followed by a big pot of water dumped from a third floor window. -

Fear not, model guy of the present! The answers to all (well, most) of your questions can be found in the 1963 Plymouth Interior Trim Parts Manual. Lots of drawings, plus material and part code info galore! Pics of a '63 Fury (base model). The interior windshield post covers are chrome, not painted. If you're interested in some more excellent interior/exterior reference photos, go to this link. -

I dunno about all this "hanging out at the hobby shop" stuff people keep mentioning. NOBODY just hung out in the hobby shop without buying anything when I was a kid. If you loitered around for more than twenty minutes, you'd get chased out because you looked like a shoplifter. -

Drills For Plastic (making holes!)
SfanGoch replied to Miatatom's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I have a Dremel 8050-N/18 Micro Cordless Rotary Tool. By far, it's the best and most versatile rotary tool I've ever owned. I also use a Dremel keyless chuck on the Micro which I picked up at Widget Supply. It'll securely handle bits as small as .3 mm. This combination is great when I need to drill multiple holes. Pin vises are good; but, too darn slow, especially when drilling more than 100 holes at a time for resin nuts, bolts and rivets. Since the drill is multi-speed (5-28K), I set it at 5K rpm when using the smaller metric and decimal bits to drill styrene. -
