Nice score!

Hi, I'm curious what you all use for rulers being straight and/or right angle? I'm assuming metal as well? And how do you all feel about the Fiskars Sure Cut;
-
Hi, Thought I'd let every one know that Scale Motorsports has a holiday special. Use coupon code SMS15 at checkout. I've been contemplating there scriber and saw blades. I mean I did have them but it's sorta painful to buy over again. Stuff is top shelf.

The blue with white interior would look striking.
-
Wow nice video post. I'd love to see this in a Gymkhana episode. Of course the turbos would need to be seriously boosted etc... to keep up with Ken Block.
-
Hi, Well I've come to love your subject matter, builds and photography format. Your builds are like a slow, smooth after dinner sipper.
-
Hi, Wow this looks really really top shelf. If it were a Scotch, it would be Lagavulin.
-
Thank you. Dann had suggested it. I was using Grabbit Stix for clear parts which I hated, leaves a residue. These seem great and have 3 tip options.

Maserati Boomerang - restoration of my 90's build

Wow, these are kits? I actually thought they were cars for reference. Holy guacamole Batman!!! They look super nice!!! -
Hi, Wow this is looking real nice. I had this kit sitting pretty to eventually build.
-
Hi, This is very nicely done! I was eye balling this kit, seems to have good engine detail in it based on the instruction sheet, does it?
-
Hi, This is such an awesome project. I too had the trans kit from C1 and may in fact re buy it. That last pic looks so frikken awesome!

Hi, I've been lurking, watching, taking notes and learning. You are a master is all I can say. Thank you for writing such detailed posts. You enhance this forum no doubt. BTW, Dann was nice enough to give me a list of tools he uses as I'm overwhelmed in where to start re buying all of mine that were lost. It's helped me for sure. So thank you Dann!

Hi, This looks so very superb! I've read several reviews/articles on this very kit, being a total nightmare. So I won't be getting one thank you

Maserati Boomerang - restoration of my 90's build

Hi, Your Boomerang looks very very cool. I had one ready to build, was gonna kit bash with a Bora for its engine. SMP24 did a full detail as well but it doesn't look any difference then yours. I'm sure this kit was finicky, looks great. -
Hi, This is super super nice. I was focused on GT cars but since I have to start over, I may get this kit. Would be a nice change of pace.
-
Hi, I just realized that this is a Badger Model Pal which is about 20% cheaper on Amazon with free shipping to boot. PS Tower Hobbies had it even cheaper by ~16%! Total was $8.98 which included shipping.
-
Hi, Would any one know who carries this besides MicroMark? Shipping is about as much as the unit cost.
-
Those do look nice. I wonder how wide they are, as they seem to look narrower. My Olfa takes 6mm tall blades, hoping these would work.
-
Hi Bill, Would you mind measuring the base of these nice looking curved blades? Hoping they are no taller then 6mm.
-
Could you have used something like scriber blades like those offered by Scale Motorsports or a scribing needle like Flex-I-File scriber needles? I agree. My current situation is such that I have to start over and rebuild a solid tool set foundation. But as I progress, I'm sure to get niche/specific use products. Agreed, and model kits too

Thank you Alex, Eric and Mattias. In terms of being able to keep building, well what else am I going to do? Stare at the walls all day

Hi and thank you all for posting. The Tamiya seems... well... meh, especially for the price. I think the UMM seems best over all and I will probably go with the SCR-002. That with an Olfa blade should give me a nice toolset for scribing.
