  1. Nice looking Bronco. I recently bought the kit myself so seeing this inspires me a lot
  2. That sure looks dirty, nice weathering job on this one
  3. Looks very good, I like it. Your color choice is very good and the paintjob looks great I think I have to buy this kit aswell
  4. Yes, I think that will be the best way of doing it. I have never reconstructed a complete missing post but I have reconstructed a post that was badly bent and broken. If the other post is there then you can use that as a template to make a new one.
  5. Maybe it is this one you are thinking of? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Doyusha-1-24-1975-Buick-Skyhawk-Plastic-Model-Kit-/371098385657?hash=item56672ffcf9 A 75 Skyhawk made by Doyusha. It says it is in 1:24 scale I don't know if that is true or not. I don't have it myself but I have had the mkI Capri and that is more like 1:22 or something like that. I have now bought a MPC Chevy Cavalier aswell so on my future to-do list is a conversion to a european Opel Ascona
  6. This looks good, I built on of those back in the 90s but my never turned out so good
  7. Maybe this is a littlebit too raunchy for some and if it violates the rules in some way than just remove it. I built this one for the theme class at the Norwegian Challenge show some years ago. The theme for that year was Outrages showrods. Those of you that can see what it is built from will recognise what it is and if you don't than maybe you are just a littlebit too young but just wait a few years and you will understand Built in about 20 minutes with axles and wheels from MPC Swithcers 32 Ford glued on with quick setting epoxy glue. At the show it was left running "on idle" on the table. At the recent Classic Car Show in Trondheim our local modellingclub had a stand and I brought this one, we put it on top of one of the IKEA glass cabinets that we had to show of our models in to keep it out of view of small children. A couple in their 30s walked by our stand and the man pointed it out to his girlfriend where upon she laughed out and said: Oh!! I had one of those but it did not have wheels on it!!
  8. Spectacualr project!! I love it. I will have to keep your tutorial on the moving of the rearwheelwells for my own future projects. I think this truck is going to look fantastic when done
  9. Yes, I have heard about them. I guess it is a much better option for getting a nice engine.
  10. Very good looking truck, you have done a fine job on it
  11. I think it will be best to buy it directly from japan from either hobbylink or hobbysearch.
  12. Thank you for the inventory, it's a pass for me then, much better just buying the newer reissues I guess.
  13. Maybe the PE sheet could be used on other 32 Ford builds?
  14. Wow!!! Finally, after so many years. This one I will have to buy
  15. Looks very good but what was your problems with it?
  16. That sounds ok, will be interesting to see if we get all years eventually. I would like to build this: http://images.sfae.com/product_images/preview/1495.jpg Steve McQueens truck, looks to me that it is a 68.
  17. OOOHHH!!! Yes please!!! Will be interesting too see what parts come with that kit.
  18. Please make a detailed review of the contents when you get it, it looks so bad on the boxcover that I wonder if one could turn it in to something nice or it is a total write-off.
  19. Ohh...how I would love to have a Reliant model kit, so many crash dioramas one can build with that. Would be really great if one could buy one to build the Reliant Regal van in Mr. Bean and ofcoursce the Trotters van My favourite Panoz was the Esperante, looked really cool i think.
  20. Could that straigt six be used in other things aswell or is it too big or badly detailed?
  21. I have searched around a bit and found that there are a few on this board that has done something similar so I guess that means it is possible to do Now, should I start right away or continue on one of the many projects that I have already started?
  22. Yes, I got the "American Muscle" prepainted convertible in yellow. I usually like yellow but I don't think it does anything for the GTO. Maybe a light metallic blue or a blood red and I would have kept it like it is. I won it as a lotteryprize at the Norwegian Challenge modelshow now in september. The 65 Chevelle wagon kit I got is an older issue that is also molded in yellow so I guess they get drawn to eachother
  23. I don't have self drying clothes and self tying shoes either. I guess that is something that is only available in Hill valley.
  24. That red one there is just the thing I'm thinking of. The Polar Lights GTO and AMT Chevelle don't seem to have teh same wheelbases but I think that I could possibly transfer the roof from the chevelle over to the gto body. Will probably have to use the Chevy rear end with taillights and such. It just feels more exlusive than the standard Chevelle wagon and a a bit more special than a GTO convertible that I got (and why on earth did they pre-paint it yellow??)
