So how about the 72 in Death Proof? -
Whats your work area like?
Atmobil replied to Dann Tier's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I did take some pictures of my hobbyroom not so long ago. Difficult to take proper pics that show everything. It is quite messy on the bench but atleast I have some space on it to work on. -
Start Scale Models (SSM) 1:43 scale KraZ 257
Atmobil replied to Junkman's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Yes, I guess that is another way of looking at it I noticed that several of the models can be bought in finished form and then for sums in the 80-90$ region. I guess there is a big saving in building it one self. -

Thank you very much for the links. Strange that they are so cheap to buy. I will have to get some of these -

Amazing!! All of the details you have made are great looking on this one. A stunning result. Top notch -
Great idea and a great execution of it I really like the way you captured this "dream scene". I call it a dream because I have never seen a car with snow like that on in the winter. Cars around here usually get all brown/grey and wet looking with roadsalt turning all the winterroads in to a dirty slush. Having said that, sometimes we do get proper winterroads around here aswell. This is a picture of my old 74 Mercedes 240D in December 2007, an early morning before on small rural roads that are not salted.

Wow, where do I order that? I have for the past year and a half or so been playing a computergame called Spintires http://spintires.com/ and that got the truck you now have a model of aswell as atleast one of the ones in the brochure you got in it. http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/849218678921435352/70F7804763FC860A58F17981D5C37D337CABB644/ -
NEW Build of Revell's '29A Roadster - a more appealing Channeled version...
Atmobil replied to tim boyd's topic in Model Cars
This looks very good, I like the changes you have done to this -
Yes, that is very nice and as Stephen says, the focus is always on the van but I remember the Corvette very well. I always thought it looked very nice with the red stripe.

That is truly great looking. You have done a fine job on this and such a cool idea -
Very nice one, this is almost the same as what I have in mind for my own build now.

That looks impressive!! How did you make the floormats? Toolbox looks great, does it come from the Fujimi kit? -
Tell me this didn't hurt
Atmobil replied to Greg Myers's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
As long as the driver and (if there was one) the passenger is ok, that is the most important part. At the end of the day, it is just another car. They can repair cars that are dead but not people. -
Blazerburb
Atmobil replied to dieseldawg142's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Very nice. I actually got a resin Suburban body, not sure who has made it but it has saved me from getting another blazer just to cut up. You have done a fine job on the conversion, now all it needs is some sand dunes -
Great looking Land Cruiser, you have made some great details on this. How did you make the electricmotor thing? Interesting that today Toyota is not interested in pure electric cars but are focusing more on hybrids, I guess if they did make an all electric Land Cruiser we would have a stampede at Toyota dealers here in Norway.

I like it very much, it looks very convincing All we need now is a diorama of the accident scene, with a cop car and maybe an ambulance and also a towtruck and some figures of police men and some curious bystanders.
