  1. Here's another place to look at. http://customrodder.forumactif.org/t1416-1955-56-and-57-t-bird-custom-mild-custom
  2. Or could be owner installed. I've noticed those Camaro spoilers showing up on Novas lately too.
  3. That's a '69 Camaro spoiler. Doesn't look like it fits very well, does it? And, yea, I've only seen it on that car also ,, and only in the last couple years.
  4. Working on it. This will be sent off for casting and will be part of a resin conversion kit along with a '68 dash.
  5. The bumper is about where it should be. The crease along the side of the body is too high. It should be roughly at the top of the trim across the light lens, instead it's almost in the middle of the upper part of the lens. so, looks like when they did the caps for the 1/4 panels they got the height from the crease to the bottom of the piece right ,, but it leaves a gap because the whole piece is moved up to accommodate the body crease. This also makes above the crease too short. I noticed this a day or two ago while working on the '68 Beaumont conversion. The upper tail light s on the Beaumont are fully above the side crease but with the crease being too high, I'm having a devil of a time trying to make the tail lights look right. But easily doctored up when building a stock Chevelle by adding a bit of sheet plastic to the bottom of the 1/4 panel caps. [I know,, we shouldn't have to on a new kit but there it is.]
  6. I googled it.
  7. Let's just drop it, shall we? ??
  8. Yea, OK, I get it. What do you want? I still have time to go back and delete my post if you like?
  9. It was released in Revell packaging a lot less than 40 years ago. But, the point is moot as I did say in my post that I seen the video and they did say it's a new body.
  10. Barrass has a long history of putting his name on stuff he's had nothing to do with. The Monkeemobile and Green Hornet Chrysler come to mind.
  11. Didn't stop 'em from selling the '69 GTO as a "'68". ?
  12. Um, no, that thing had nothing to do with the show any more than the "Barnabas' vampire van" had to do with the show "Dark Shadows". Just some thing MPC cooked up at the time to sell more plastic while that had the 1999 licencing. ,,, and no, the 1/1 moonscope buggy was never modified to look like this kit. So, yes, definitely feel free to let your imagination soar !! ???
  13. I wonder what they're gonna do about the rear 1/4 panels where they meet the ends of the rear bumper. The '68 bumper is cut on a slant while the '69 is pretty well strait up and down and the 1/4 panels reflect that. New body or change that area on the 1/4 panel? PS, just checked out the review video on the SA magazine website and they say new body ,,, but they also said the fresh air vents on the interior kick panels were speakers so ???
  14. OK, here's the update on the '68. Now that I've gotten some other projects out of the way that I had wanted to finish, I've started on the conversion parts. Here's what I have so far,, Hardest part now is cutting away all the material that is not part of the Beaumont. ?
  15. I hope so too as I'm about 1/2 done with the Beaumont conversion master for the '68. ?
  16. Great looking Road Runner.
  17. Beautiful. You don't see that kit built very often and yours turned out fabulous !!???
  18. Love it !!
  19. Thanks guys. and Mary says thanks too.?
  20. Neet. Nice clean build there. I remember trying to build that kit and a few others in the series when I was in grade school. Failed miserably.
  21. Looks great Steve.
  22. Good on ya Steve. I would have entered something but didn't know it was open to internet entries. Seen posting on the spotlight board that said something about DSC V16 and codive 19. Just thought it was more codive BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH and by then I was sick of hearing about it so never opened the post or looked at it more closely.
  23. Valom Models, that made this one makes about a dozen different ones including some "verses' 2-pacs. This one came with a nice Nieuport II kit. http://www.valom.net/?page_id=29
  24. Thanks Snake, I checked my stash and do have a nice D-VII , It's a 1/48 Roden kit and I even have some photoetch and aftermarket decals for it. I think it's gonna wait 'till I get more practice with this stuff first though. It's quite a complex looking kit in itself and I want to do it justice.
