    OK, thanks for the answer, Erik. I figured it might be something like that. You have a lot of courage chopping a big kit up like that;... way too adventurous for me, but it looks like you have a good handle on it.

    Received these today, the replacement parts that should allow me to finish this beast in time for the show. Parts generously donated gratis by Joe (Mustang1989),... thanks very much, Joe, I appreciate it immensely.

    One of my biggest (current) regrets, is throwing away the remains of an AMT 32 Ford Phaeton a few months ago. I was in the process of moving at the time, and was not into cars then at all, so with so much other stuff being moved and/or stored, I had to draw the line somewhere. Darn shame, as I always liked that car, and had kept it for many, many years.

    Indeed it was. I really wish I had kept that N scale train, it'd be pretty cool running around the Christmas tree.

    Agreed. I've never been a real fan of trainers, but this one looks excellent.

    Photo is dated May, 1957, so yes, quite old. My father used to love the car shows, and went as often as he could. Once I got into my teens, I started going with him.

    I'd suspect a browser issue. Running Firefox 37.0.1, and I have no issues at all.

    I remember it fondly. As far as I can recall, it was the only camper model I ever built.

    Pretty much, yes. I've been building aircraft models for years now, and just recently decided to dive back into cars. And thank you. For my first car project in two decades, I'm very pleased with the way it's coming along.

    I thought so too. I've recently reacquired the 33 Willys and AMX.
