  1. That is amazing, it has been great to see it come together.
  2. I have 2, 1 has been started. The other will have to wait until you start, so I can copy what you do!
  3. I really appreciate you showing the process. I would never have thought of this method to create the latches. I still have a ton of work to do on my house after moving, so have not even begun unpacking my modelling stuff, but will definitely try replicate some of the stuff you have done here, one day.
  4. That looks like it rolled off a production line! Very nicely done,, thanks for sharing.
  5. This is not a subject I would normally be interested in but your skill and mixture of techniques amazes me to no end. Manually forming and shaping with 3d printing and brass, even casting metal. Thanks for sharing your build process!
  6. Interesting kit, not one I would choose but keen to see how you go with it. I would build it quick and get it done, I tried to build my first (and second) model to be as good as I could get it and it took me really long and frustrated me a bit. Finishing the model kit's felt great and I enjoy looking over them now, even with the faults, there are so many other kits that you can build when you have finished this one But, it's your model, build it like you want to!
  7. I would love to see photos of that in the sunlight. It looks good in those photo's but the black hides so much.
  8. Shucks, I think I have seen the image of this kit before, I wonder if its what got me onto the C111? Going to add it to my wish list, thanks!
  9. I have been looking over photo's of this too recently, as well as the C111 thinking how much work they would take. Interesting subject for sure, I am following!
  10. That does look amazing indeed, you should be very proud of that. I guess it is much like anything else, we all have different expectations from what we produce, I would be over the moon if I managed to finish a car to that level, but your bar is set somewhat higher. Thanks for sharing the photos
  11. I love Miura's too and I plan to buy a Miura model, after I have moved and settled in. Looking forward to what you think of the Hasegawa.
  12. This whole topic is just, WOW! Great job so far, I am really looking forward to updates!
  13. I have watched you do amazing things in the Pagani but the new cars don't really appeal to me. This however is something that I would love to see as it gets built up, I hope you cover every detail in the same way you have the Pagani, I am really excited to see your build thread!
  14. Thanks so much for the step by step process @Dann Tier You make it look so simple, but I don't think I would have figured it out on my own. How do you get the dot of glue on the tool you use? Do you just dip the point into the superglue?
  15. I would love to see step by step photo's. I have no idea how you can make something so small!
  16. Thank you both, I appreciate the positive feedback!
  17. Thanks so much I appreciate the compliment. The wheels do look alot better than I was expecting with this colour. Before we moved to Portugal my wife and I were looking at Nova Scotia. I would still like to go visit it someday, preferably when theres no snow though
  18. This update starts on a more positive note, as I managed to patch the paint where I had sanded through before. I am leaving it as it is in the photo's for now, simply because I don't have the courage to try and add the rest of the decals just yet. What else is obvious from the photo is that the roof rack and spare wheels still need to be addd on top as well. A close up view from the front. I am sure I mentioned it before, but if you compare the indicators you will notice the left hand side one is brighter than the right. This is because I covered the entire rear part of it with silver before gluing, whereas the darker one I did not, so it has only the red of the body behind it. Here you may notice the rear light lens is missing, it got stuck to the masking tape I used to cover the body while patching the paint and sadly I only noticed it was missing when I had thrown all the used tape away! Look closely at the exhaust, can you see it has been drilled out? Close up shots show so many flaws, but I do enjoy the ambience of these two, it almost feels as though you are peering into a real car. The engine suffered a bit of paint loss from handling etc. I am not sure if it is normal for enamel paint to rub off so easily from plastic. Maybe some primer would have helped it last a bit longer? I added the spark plug wires, and while they are not to scale I am glad I did. I was hoping to add brake lines too and so on, but my patience ran a bit thin. Don't look too close or you will notice the faults! I am planning to complete this model, but as of right now I cannot find the motivation to work on it. It is at least done to the point where I can glance over it every now and then.
  19. I have watched two seasons of the Rockford files and I really enjoyed Garner's portrayal, especially seeing as he would rather back out of a fight then go in somewhere looking for a fight. I don't know much about PI's but I would think they are not getting paid to constantly have punch-up's I am following this build and would love to do something similar in the future.
  20. I am surprised to see you painting the parts while on the tree. I have seen other people here on the forum saying its less effort prepping and painting off the tree. Do you find your method effective and how do you touch op the points where you cut the parts off? That's a nice green by the way
  21. Just wow. The level of detail you put into your work never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for sharing!
  22. The colour polished out really well and looks amazing. As a kid I remember seeing photo's of Ferrari's in magazines. I never knew that Testarossa meant a boxer motor, thanks for sharing your video.
  23. I loved following your build, great to see the car came out so amazing! Looking forward to seeing how you do the other builds too!
  24. It looks good in the photo's for sure. I love that shade of blue!
