  1. I really love the white and red color combo. The whole build is just excellent.
  2. I think one of them is Air Trax, but now I can't remember if its the white one or the tan.
  3. Probably 1970. I love the 1970 Charger, '70 Coronet Super Bee, '70 Hemi Cuda, '70 Challenger, '70 300, '70 Mustang, and the '70 Cougar.
  4. I think he means would it cost more than the 25% to manufacture the kit domestically? The model companies were saving money by having things done in China. Does the tariff change that, or is there still a savings?
  5. I don't know if it's on the latest pricelist, as I somehow neglected to pick one up at the MAMA show yesterday, but Replicas and Miniatures had two based on a tanks Bob Dudek used to do in aluminum. Your pic looks a lot like one of them.
  6. About how fine/course is the sanding stick you used?
  7. Very different and very cool. I like it, too. A lot.
  8. Did you click the tab at the top left corner rhat says "contact me" and also, strangely "sold out?" I get this: Hello Everyone! Modelhaus Tires now has an E-mail address for comments and questions. The address is modelhaustires@gmail.com sold out
  9. That's not a 1966 or a 1965 Impala. It's a 1966 Buick Wildcat. Looks like Hasegawa over staggered the headlights. I don't own the kit, but I've heard there are quite a few inaccuracies.
  10. Weird. It's up on the website: https://www.revell.com/products/cars/muscle-1964-to-1974/
  11. I think Norm Veber at Replicas and Miniatures Company of Maryland sells a set like that.
  12. Tamiya Acrylic tends to be a little thicker. Sometimes a lot.
  13. Pretty nice looking kit. Thanks for sharing, Bill.
  14. Last I checked with him, Norm doesn't sell the wheels anymore, but he is working on getting them back into production. Your wheels look great, btw, Curt.
  15. The '68 El Camino Street Machine definitely has those, and they're in the '67 Impala Street Machine, too, but I'm not 100% sure the fronts and rears are different sizes in that one.
  16. I concur with the fellas who posted above about a 70 Charger sheet. I've gotten some stuff from Keith Marks, which worked pretty nice, but it wasn't made for that kit so the alignment on that stripe was a bit off. Would be great to have someone make an accurate sheet dedicated to the kit.
  17. You could also try cutting off the spindle itself (the plastic peg that goes into the wheel back. This might have a different name but I'm super tired right now) and attaching a piece of plastic or metal rod or tubing of equal diameter slightly higher and/or elongating the holes in the wheel backs a little bit. It's more of a long shot, but maybe custom lowered spindles from other AMT kits from the same era might fit in place of the Starliner spindles. Not sure if there are any other options besides cutting up the stock spindles or scratch building brand new ones.
  18. Flip the spindles upside down, maybe?
  19. I like the detail on the MCG heads a lot, but if building a Revell based flathead, they are a little big for the block. The Revell 40 Ford Street Rod has Edelbrock heads similar to the above and the '48 Ford Custom Coupe has finned Navarro heads.
  20. The details on this car are spectacular and your work looks very clean. I also have a couple of sets of the Pegasus hubcaps, and would love the chance to get resin copies of your hubcaps, as well, especially considering that The Modelhaus has effectively shut its doors. May I ask what tires you're using?
  21. You nailed that patina. Gorgeous.
  22. Very nice. Did you fill with superglue, epoxy, Bondic, or other?
  23. That's pretty cool, Mark. Very realistic. Excited to see more.
