  1. Really liking this build. Love these old kits
  2. Very sharp looking. Love the colors and FE. Happen to have the rear quarter trim still? In need of the front angled piece (attached to the spear)
  3. Coolest Mustang EVER
  4. AMT 1967 Galaxie AMT 1962 Galaxie any 72-75 Vega's any 71-79 Pinto's MPC 66 Monaco 500
  5. Okay... Where is it at? Anticipation is killing me
  6. I just saw this thread and went thru every page. Wow freaking WOW..... The bar is raised so high I cannot even see it. Anyone wanna buy some kits? I may just hang it up after seeing this masterpiece of art.
  7. Anyone have pics of the parts in the R2 release? Dang, I did not know it was different than the others. Is there a top for a hardtop?
  8. Give them time.... we are seeing some repaired tools. Many not seen in years. When it comes to building, I prefer these over many of the "New" releases cuz it seems some just cant get the bodies right. Most of the AMT and MPC bodies are very accurate, and I am good with that.
  9. yay............. sbc for the "trading box"
  10. The center of the roof at the "B" pillar is chopped less than the front or back of the roof. The roof is too "flat" looking and the V in the windshield, cowl and hood are almost non-existent. The body sides are very flat, rocker panels are squared off along with the bottom of the rear quarters, the hood has an odd shape where the compound curve goes from the side to the front. Body is pretty thick too. Just a poor example of a great car. Have seen some nice builds, but the body issues just jump out to me personally and far too much work to fix. That is my view of the car, I hope it does not start a big pissing match like my detailed critique of the Revell 57 Ford Custom. This is an AMT, used the 1/4 windows from the Revell body (best part of the body, LOL) I have about 2 hours of work into it.
  11. I 100% agree!!!! Keep 'em coming
  12. I have several and they look great done. Yea, the chassis detail could be better (the 66 Galaxie could be used, but you need to stretch it a bit) The way I see it, my kits are not displayed on their roofs
  13. Looks sweet. I think you should BMF the grill and bumpers and tear sections off. Give it the pealing chrome look
  14. Very Cool. Love the Purple with the Flames
  15. Great save..... What's not to like, it's a Galaxie
  16. Hey now.......
  17. My "unbuildable" is the Revell 49 Merc. Not because it will not go together, but because I refuse to build it because the body looks like a die cast. I would spend less time chopping an AMT or MPC kit than fixing that POS. Great parts kit for my MPC snappers though
  18. Nice to see the plug wires installed correctly. Engine is looking great. Love the Y-Block in the truck... they have a sound all their own, kinda like a Harley
  19. What? No 3 window coupes? Great job as usual.
  20. in 1984 I was driving a 1948 Ford Super Deluxe Coupe. Flathead, black primer, dechromed, frenched headlights, whitewalls, 56 Olds Fiesta caps and blue dots. Only one in the HS parking lot.
