  1. The blue can looking thing on front is supposed to be a distributor. Common placement on a supercharged Cammer.
  2. Nice Cuda and use of extra parts. Ironically I am painting something that same color(seriously just masked some off)
  3. Cool... Looks like something you'd see cruising in the 70's
  4. That chassis has given me fits also. As for the engine it is supposed to be a ford 427 SOHC but the timing cover, intake and valve covers are wrong. Kind of a caricature of an SOHC to avoid licencing. The only thing wrong up-top of the valve covers is the plug locations are in the wrong locations, the bottom of them are just bit of a mess. That being said, Dave is doing a really nice job of getting this thing looking good and my comments do not reflect on anything he has done.
  5. Looks cool. Trim that left header flange to... LOL
  6. I do not have back stories per say but have many things that influence or lead me in a direction. Pictures I see, hot wheels, even others builds will give me ideas. I know if it is a subject I am not familiar with I will do some research to be sure what I am doing is correct.
  7. Updated photo of available parts. I'm not really looking for anything, just trying to help out if anyone needs or wants. Everything remaining is Revell.
  8. Glad to help. Yes, you are correct on the AMT and MPC differences. Try repairing the hoods you have, it's not that tough. A lot of info on the "tips" page.
  9. I will update the photo after I pull the parts Keef wants.
  10. Your post got me thinking some more about this so I pulled out an AMT kit. The last AMT kit "Street custom" represents a 75 to 78 Mustang II. The hood will fit an MPC but will require a little bit of work. Just an FYI for you.
  11. Go ahead and get him his part, may be days before I get a chance to look.
  12. I'll third that!!!!! And as Mr. Metallic stated, a parts pack would be great. I am always looking for dropped axles.
  13. In-my-opinion (worth very little) a '73 would be much better. Cleaner look and no big bumpers. The front of the '77 is downright ugly to me. Now if someone were planning a '70's GM, I think (again, worthless opinion) a '73 Grand Am would be a much better choice to attract more builders.
  14. Very nice, the color is perfect.
  15. I had purchased a bunch of '70 Charger stuff from fleabay and was going to make a stock car using a late model chassis. I've got too many projects and decided to drop this one. See anything here you need or want, drop me a line. Thanks
  16. I have one but I need to root thru stuff. I'll get back to ya
  17. Nice lookin GTO! Do not be concerned about the space under the grill, the bumper should be below the headlight bezels as the kit is. On a 1:1 it depends who installed the bumper. LOL
  18. Great lookin' Mustang and I like the subtle changes you made.
  19. That is one nice build. Again, you step out-of-the-box for color and it looks great! One of your best IMO
  20. Sweet simple and black!
  21. Nice custom Galaxie! I can think of one word to describe it: Smooth!
  22. Nice Shelby! Love the color.
  23. That is a beautiful build!!!
